We use Splashtop to remotely support customers with their IT support needs. It gives us a reliable platform that is easy to use and is great value for money. Our technician uses it to support businesses worldwide.

- It's easy for remote customers to install the software

- After restarting remote systems it's easy to reconnect
Cons
- Maybe make it easier to rename saved computer connections?
- When new devices are added to the list it would be easier if there was a 'date added' field.
- It's helped me support some customers that are on a limited budget. My costs are less and I can pass that on.

Yes it's well designed and easy to use for both parties. Once the customer has received the link (through email) even the most tech-weary still manage install Splashtop easily. That is a big plus!
Yes - TeamViewer. It was too expensive for a small business like ours. We only need to support customers occasionally so did not want to spend too much on software.
