Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
We are an IT company. We use TeamViewer to support our clients. Clients call us and then we use TeamViewer to assist them with the solution to the problem.
We also use TeamViewer (host) on servers, so we can login to the servers anytime we want.
TeamViewer is also able to assist in other ways. It can run Windows updates, do backups and more. Currently we are not using these options.

- Assist customers with problems
- Connect to servers anytime
- User/rights management
- Reports with connections
- Since the last update the program crashes more then usual, did go back to the 'old' interface, which works great. I'm sure that the new interface wil work great also soon, if not already.
- Prices are pretty high.
- Before TeamViewer we needed to visit the customer for every problem. Now we can remote troubleshoot and solve most problems.
Very quickly we did see the benefits. We travelled a lot less, and could help more customers.
We still use AnyDesk also. TeamViewer (which is more expensive) has far more features, and is more user friendly.
The prices of TeamViewer have increased by quitte a lot. However, you can still see improvements in both the client as in the management interface.
For AnyDesk the licensing changes yearly, which makes them less reliable for continuaty.

We use two factor authentication with TeamViewer (enforced by a policy). In an ideal situation we would rather use single sign-on for Microsoft Entra, but that needs a Tensor license, which we do not have.
While the 2FA is still safe to use, an integration with Microsoft 365 would be easier.
