Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

TriNet's customer service is fantastic. They are quick to reply to questions and are helpful in advising on implementing new or modifying existing HR policies. We have two individuals that work on our account and they are willing to help with any request they can.
Usability has certainly improved with the new site - it is still somewhat buggy but it is getting better everyday.
My entire organization uses TriNet. We use it for payroll, benefits administration and requesting PTO.
  • Payroll - TriNet handles our payroll, freeing up staff time and ensuring we are in compliance with all state and federal tax requirements.
  • Benefits administration - TriNet allows us to have health, vision, dental FSA, HSA, and retirement all in one place, making it easy for our employees to manage all of their benefits.
  • Managing leave - TriNet helps us when employees need to take a leave of absence, whether it's paid, unpaid, parental, etc. They ensure payroll is set-up correctly to reflect the employee's current status.
  • Managing return from leave could be done automatically. It should be as simple as TriNet returning an individual to active status and notifying the HR administrator of the change based on the LOA form that is submitted prior to the employee's leave. Currently this is a manual process.
  • TriNet has had a positive impact on our business objectives. Previously we were using multiple platforms for our various HR needs. TriNet allowed us to bring all of our needs onto one platform, making for a more streamlined approach for employees and saving them time and confusion caused by using multiple platforms.
  • Insperity
Insperity did not have all of the features that TriNet offers. Switching to TriNet also resulted in cost savings.
TriNet is well suited for a company that wants everything on one platform - payroll, benefits administration, employee information, etc. I cannot think of a scenario where it is less appropriate - perhaps for very small companies without the budget for this type of platform.
