Overall Satisfaction with UserTesting

I use it for quick unmoderated user feedback on live sites and prototypes. We use the feedback to guide development decisions to make sure that they are in line with user needs and goals.

Pros

  • Recruitment

Cons

  • Broader offering of of types of questions and response types. Current selection is just to limited.
  • We got specific feedback from users about how they were viewing a commercial we were running and how it was not resonating with them. Really specific insights.
We've got the premium support and I can schedule time is a Sr. consultant to go over any questions I have. Very helpful.
There's a little bit of a learning curve, but I've been using them for 10 years so now it's just about getting up to spedd with refinements that they make.
With the feedback that I get I can quickly re-focus the development team if we are getting much friction from the contributors.
Only used User Testing, got lucky out of the gate and never saw a need to change to an inferior platform.

It just makes it really easy to quickly gather feedback from contributors. For US markets I normally get 10 respondents within 2 hours of launching the study. The turn around time is great in a last minute thinking culture at times. I extensively use use and appreciate the pre-panel filters, super easy and helpful.
