Overall Satisfaction with Webex Calling

I work for communities and counseling for study abroad operations and for these operations I use Webex Calling, in this era where everything is going online I like how Webex Calling functions and solves my multiple problems with one go. Its integration with Webex Suite was what I liked the most, now everything can be done with ease be it calling, meetings or even messaging. The primordial problem it has solved for me is how in a very user-friendly way I have everything at my disposal. From connecting with colleagues to setting up meetings with partners, everything is seamless with Webex Calling. Cisco itself is a big company and it delivers quite well, Webex Calling is just another example of the same. Admin portal is quite friendly and easy to use and the most important part is that audio calls are crystal clear so all in all they do affect the meetings in a positive way by basically forming the base that no one sees. If not for this product and how nicely it functions, maybe a good partnership might've been broken maybe a deal wouldn't have been signed maybe corporate connectivity would not have been that good and seamless.

  • Up to 1000 attendees can join the meetings
  • I think that there are less emojis, there could be more since other free providers also provide the same
  • International calling is a bit more expensive, could be taken down a bit
  • Virtual backgrounds aren't that much appealing as well, there is room for improvement there
  • Decreased community participation by 10%
  • Call Analytics is limited. Could've been better than basic for standardized plan
  • Live chat functionality should've been there for community engagement
I have integrated it with Cisco UCM to receive the Webex calls on my desk phone since being a community specialist, I got to stay in contact with the close knit. This feature has worked fine for me and integration was also pretty easy. Call routing and voicemail can be taken care of here so yes this is the only integration I needed.
Everything is in the app itself. Calling, meeting and messaging could be done with ease but it's low on analysis part and also on being a potent community tool. Security is good end to end encryption is there so no problem on this part. There should also be in call analysis which is not there.
It's far far secure when compared to the other two rest everything is almost similar. In free version Google Meet has unlimited meeting length. For me Webex Calling is all about security. The interface is also very good and professional, directory part is well functional so all of these features make Webex Calling a good choice.

The audio is very clear, but when the two devices are close, there is considerable noise. Also the calling is quite expensive considering that there are countless free tools available which provide the same features. Call recording is an add on so there you need to think about whether it's worth purchasing or not. Also that it can be used on multiple devices with the app makes things easier. For small scale corporates and teams it's all good, but with respect to its competitors bringing so much on plate and that too for free, I rate it 6/10.
