Great price with some great features
Overall Satisfaction with Zoho Social
It seems that these days you need to post to all social media platforms and zoho social makes that task a lot simpler. We are now using zoho social across the company to help keep all of our social profiles (including the long forgotten but seemingly needed Google Plus).
Pros
- Reporting - a list showing your posts and current activity is brilliant. All others seem to only show you how the post has performed since you used the software while Zoho can do this retrospectively.
- Instagram integration as standard. Not a paid add-on. Brilliant.
Cons
- Could really do with supporting more brands on the basic paid plan. This is a useful tool for most businesses who have multiple social media profiles and not everyone who uses them are a rising social media star who uses this as their main tool.
- For us, it wasn't about ROI but rather simplifying the numerous social media accounts we have.
- Hootsuite Pro, Sprout Social and Buffer
Price and features.
No other product we tested would show us the number of likes, shares and views of previous posts. While we can view this on each social profile it's great to have it in the one place, in my social media management software.
Buffer puts too much focus on queuing up posts and having buffer send them out on your schedule. It seems the concept of post it straight away is second. Also, even on a paid plan you are bombarded with reminders that you don't have access to features unless you buy the business level plan (which is just an insane and offensive price).
Sprout Social, the most basic plan costs more than the studio management system we use to run our entire business.
Why we went with Zoho... It's a tool to help us and solve a single problem. If we were social media stars then it would be our main tool and the tool which helps generate our income. But it's not, social media is just something we all must do these days so for us we need a tool to help. It's not something which will ever generate us income and therefore Zoho social won't ever earn back its money in anything other than saving time.
