I would recommend 6sense as a 10. I really don't have any major faults with the tool. I can't imagine being a marketer in this day and age and not having a tool like 6sense. If a team doesn't have it, even if you're a small team, I think it can be a game-changer. I would say areas where this product is well-suited are organizations where sales and marketing teams need better alignment. If you have sales teams that need help prioritizing the right accounts—meaning ICP accounts that are showing intent—then 6sense is a tool you should definitely look into. If you have old-school sales teams that are just kind of winging it and picking accounts they feel they should be working without having data behind those decisions, 6sense can help bring much-needed focus and prioritization. Where it may not be the best fit is if you're a very small company and you're not yet at the point of doing account-based marketing. If you're a one-person shop with a single marketer or a single salesperson, you probably don't need ABM yet—you need to grow a little bit first. But that would really be my only callout.

LeanData is best suited for lead contact or account routing. If you need Round Robins. If you need reporting on AHT. If you need normalization. If you need a way to identify inbound duplicates. If you want to set up a schedule link and calendar invites for your Sales Reps.

  • It helps us know which accounts to focus on.
  • Example: It shows which companies are searching for topics like our product. We give the SDR team a list of accounts to call first.
  • It shows intent even when no one fills out a form.
  • Example: An account may not submit a demo form, but 6sense still shows it is active and viewing related topics. This helps us reach out earlier.
  • It triggers actions for the team.
  • Example: If an account suddenly spikes in intent, we can alert the account owner, create a task, or start a sequence right away.

  • LeanData's UX is top notch. I love how intuitive the FlowBuilder is, and how it helps visualize a process. I don't need to use another tool to map out the flow, and then build it again in LeanData. I also love the testing feature.
  • LeanData support is amazing. So communicative, and helpful. They were so helpful during onboarding, and continue to be a great resource as we optimize.
  • Territory management/Routing/user scheduling is super easy in LeanData. Far more robust than other solutions out there.

  • I would love to see more academy and certifications, availability, I think some easier, faster, easy, digestible courses to jump in. Certifications are great but they're very much focused on just those two certifications, so maybe more of a specialization focus on that side as well as some ways to kind of do a quick easy onboarding for first time users or those who have 6sense within their organization but don't know how to jump in and use it right away.

  • When uploading leads from a tradeshow, if you have multiple leads from the same company, LeanData will create multiple opportunities. We created a work-around to add a delay to the second individual from each company so that LeanData would not create the duplicate opportuntity, but the ability to do that out of the box would be nice.
  • We have a complex salesforce instance with complicated hierarchies. Sometimes LeanData will match to the incorrect account. We would like it to match to the headquarters.

I love the tool, it makes everything we do more powerful and accurate. I'd shout it from the rooftops any day of the week. Using this tool will take your marketing efforts to the next level, no matter where you're starting from. No need to have prior experience with the tool for it to work for you

I gave this rating because I’ve spent hours upon hours training reps on 6sense. A lot of my trainings have been successful and the reps are now using the tool correctly. With that, I think the usability is overall strong. It isn’t complex once it is learned by the rep or admin, just takes some practice.

LeanData is pretty much straightforward if you just know the basics of accessing fields and objects in SFDC, and for me, personal opinion, LeanData is more flexible compared to native SFDC flows, visual-wise. I really find LeanData very easy to work with; when something unusual happens or goes wrong, I can just use the Audit Logs and do some quick search on what really happened there on the routing as it preserves the history

We hardly needed any support but in the initial days we got some had to contact support for the product understanding, the suppor t was prompt and they were very quick to resolve any issues. The support team is very helpful and gives a lot of importance to unresolved issues.

Fantastic customer success team that ensures deployment starts off on the right foot. There is room for improvement on the side of straategic planning and business consulting services offered by LeanData. I recommend working with an experienced consultant or third party who has implemented the product before.

We were not able to devote the developer resources to solving the problem in-house at the moment in time we needed to move on this solution. We wanted (needed) a bespoke solution where implementation could be handled outside of our organization. LeanData was able to offer that and on the timescale we were beholden to.

  • Opportunity conversion, definitely increased opportunity, conversion rates and very high deal size. The size of the deal that is touched by marketing and engaged in 6sense paid media campaigns is proportionately increased versus if they were just an inbound or if they were just work by sales.
