Frankly, I didn't select TriNet, I inherited it from our previous HR manager. I am not sure that I would have selected it. While I would not have selected Justworks, I have had amazing experiences with ADP and based on cost and options would have been more likely to choose them …
Trinet has more features than Gusto and QuickBooks Online as far as HR reporting, census, off-cycle payroll, tax reports etc. But the biggest thing it doesn't have that all of these other do is a live chat feature that is completely necessary for immediate payroll issues that …
They were about the same. We went with TriNet because of a bad experience I had with Paychex. However, TriNet started off strong and then the service went downhill. Finally, as I wrote, the state setup/final tax filings not being done makes me say I will not go back to Trinet.
ADP's cost, user interface, benefits offered etc. were not as good a match for our company as TriNet's offerings. TriNet appeared much more user friendly with a significantly easier learning curve. TriNet also offered a greater all-in package for our small business.
Three years ago, when I switched, TriNet was better because it had a better, easier website, more insurance choices, and it was a little bit cheaper at the time.
We have used ADP before and they lacked transparency in fees and reporting. With TriNet, we are able to allocate in our accounting system expenses for fees and not just a number in the payroll amount that changes every month. It is a standard fee each month explicitly stated …
TriNet by far is superior in terms of service and platform. Their focus on state and federal compliance is unparalleled compared to the other products I have used in the past.
TriNet was the only one that would allow a small business with few employees to get on board at the time. Also, they were easy to talk to at first and were very patient with us.
A big distinction for me is TriNet's customer service. With a lot of PEO providers, the services they provide are very similar so things such as customer service really set one company apart from the other.
For us, the bottom line has always been the strength of medical insurance offerings. We are constantly being asked to switch to other providers but TriNet always comes out on top largely due to the strength in their medical insurance offerings in our state.
We were interested to look at alternatives and ensure we were getting the best deal for our staff and the company. Only one came close to the cost of the benefits and we were loath to switch the employee experience without a solid reason. As we grow our system needs and the …
We chose TriNet when our company was starting out. We may be switching to a new PEO soon because the needs of our business have changed and we would like certain features that TriNet has yet to fix or add.
The above companies were able to provide great payroll resources; however, when it came to benefits for our employees, they fell short, and it became our problem to go out and resource this part of our business.
