Agile CRM

If you're looking for a fully functional CRM that is easy to use on practically any device while reducing your dependence on multiple programs (deal reporting, contact center, service tickets, marketing automation) then you should consider agile CRM. If you are a do-it-yourselfer, the agile CRM support team is excellent in getting you going – and keeping you going. The responses are quick, on point, and very helpful.Agile CRM isn't wonderful at updating groups of records (unless you're facile with database imports and exports). For example, selecting 500 records and switching tags could be a much simpler process…

Pros

  • Tagging clients and sending out emails to groups. It beats any e-mail server by a mile.
  • Good integration with gmail so that my clients are being auto-imported whenever I send an email from my ordinary email server.
  • Great simple website integration with forms, landing pages, lead behavior capturing etc. - you really get a lot of functionality for your money.

  • Tracking and Managing new leads.
  • Easy to generate Newsletters.
  • Intergration with LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.

Cons

  • The learning process is more challenging and takes longer to get used to the way things are handled in Agile CRM.
  • Agile CRM needs to improve their testing and preview options for different campaign segments.
  • There are some user interface tasks that could be made more user friendly such as setting up email templates and forms templates.

  • I would like to see deeper email integration. I believe it is soon on the way.

There was a little bit of a learning curve and some bumps along the way to managing this platform, but AgileCRM appears to be responsive to any challenges that arise, which I consider to be of vital importance.

It does everything I need when I'm at my computer. I would just like to have greater functionality in the iphone app. I have discussed with Greenrope my issues and they appear to be working on these issues

Reliability and Availability

The training sessions are very helpful, because you have specialist that is available to answer any questions, guide you and coach you on how to dominate a certain feature of the platform. That being said,Whenever I have an issue that needs to be resolved, I can send email or call a support line. I usually use the support line.

The performance of AgileCRM has been acceptable to date. I'm pleased with the ability to modify leads in the system and search for them and add groups to campaigns.

Right from the beginning, GreenRope's staff have been extremely helpful with getting us setup and answering all of our questions. In addition to chat support, the documentation provided within GreenRope itself is detailed and easily accessible. GreenRope is also really good about letting you know that they are available - and how to contact them. My questions/requests are answered quickly, every time.

Each section of the AgileCRM platform has an instructional video that describes in detail all of the features of that section. I found this to be very instructional way to learn about each section. Whenever I had more questions, I could always schedule a conference call with a tutor..

I think there are some cheat sheets and best practises lists that could be created that would save a business a lot of time and frustration. BUT, even as it is, the frustrations and challenges disappear as things start working. I am going to be offering up a few of the tricks I have learned to the team at GreenRope to share with other users because when customers offer valuable work arounds that they find helpful to others, we accomplish a few things. The coders get an idea of things that aren't working quite as expected so they can look into fixes, other customers get benefit and we all win

Alternatives Considered

I trialed a number of other CRMs much to the disgust of my colleagues!
  • Pipedrive was great but more sales focussed and heavy on Javascript so felt slow at times
  • OnePageCRM was good but no sales automation when we tried it
  • Highrise - wanted to love it but too basic and even though we had a free license bundled with Basecamp we didn't use it.
  • Capsule was good but basic
  • Salesforce was too complicated to learn
  • Infusionsoft and Hubspot were too hard sell (Hubspot wanted a 1 year commitment)

We looked at a number of other products, including Salesforce, Microsoft, and many others. None compared from a price to value perspective, especially taking into account all the other modules that are included...not just CRM
