Hubspot is well suited for medium-large organizations with specific and more elaborate needs but can also be implemented in SMEs with some more basic needs due to the fact that it is fully modifiable. The fact that it is accessed from all devices at any point in time, with just an internet connection, and information is readily available and NOT asynchronous as with standard ERPs is a competitive edge for HubSpot, which is based from scratch on the cloud. The simplicity of the workflow, the ease of use, the degree of personalization, and the timeliness of tasks executed are unequivocally contributing to increased efficacy of the team and more sales at the end of the day!

If the need was relatively simple use cases. Under 100 clients and such. Once it breaks into hundreds of people or companies to keep track of, I think Insightly breaks down quickly. But for the smaller verticals where a CRM solution is necessary, this works okay enough. But I'd probably also say "Maybe look at Hubspot".

Because it's integrated with HubSpot marketing platform, which is indispensable, and works simply and seamlessly with the marketing platform. The CRM is intuitive, never a time burden, and makes doing business development work a whole lot easier and enjoyable. Insightly offers a great product; it's the right fit for our company at this time. We were, however, considering moving to Contactually due to their cost effective automation features. However, they lacked the project management capabilities of Insightly. As our company grows, we would love to stay with Insightly - and if they can nail the automation and add the ability to customize a little bit more, it would be the perfect solution for us. For a larger company with a more involved sales team, you might find the metrics/reporting to be a bit basic. Insightly offers great customer service even to free customers

I find HubSpot very easy to use. I can customize fields, etc. I find it to be much more user-friendly than Salesforce or other CRM tools. My day is organized around HubSpot - all my emails are sent via a HubSpot sequence, I can interrupt that sequence and all of my phone calls are tracked as well. All emails I send through Outlook are synched with HubSpot, all the proposals I send are created and sent through HubSpot, and every deal I close is then tracked through HubSpot and I can run any kind of report imaginable for me or my sales team as a whole.

The only missing thing at this time that would make our implementation complete would be a tighter integration with Xero allowing us to send quotes and report on quotes from Insightly!Xero has, excuse the pun, ZERO reporting on quotes sent!!!They are both very good products, however it's the little things that make good GREAT!

It is a full-time job to have someone just keep Salesforce working and up to date. Hubspot, you don't need that same level of human capital to run it. (+) Being able to download my LinkedIn connections was a huge benefit. (+) I use the task function to stay on top of my follow-up activity which is another positive feature. (+) The sorting capabilities also help me pinpoint the contacts that I need to stay on top of.(-) When I add a new lead from an existing organization, I would like the organization's information to automatically populate the fields like address, website, description. I enter all that information manually. (-) My mass mailing experience has been tedious due to the email function being interrupted and crashing due to bad email addresses in some of my records. (-) Many of my leads do not have current email addresses. I wish Insightly offered a tool to help find email addresses. I spend too much time researching to find email addresses.
