When it still existed, Open Site Explorer was one of, if not the, best freemium SEO tools. Not only did its free-tier offer amazing insights and data for SEO strategy, but its paid program offered additional resources for SEO. I think it worked better than Screaming Frog …
Yahoo! Site Explorer is no longer available outside of a Bing Webmaster Tools account. While there are plenty of fee-based link evaluation tools, Moz's Open Site Explorer provides a robust set of features and metrics in its free version that no other site can match. Moz also …

I prefer Ahrefs Site Explorer to Moz's Open Site Explorer. It has much more data on current and historical backlinks, as well as useful charts. The UI is easy to navigate and there are options for exporting the data, which I find useful as well.

Moz is the one stop source for information, tools and networking which is what makes the monthly fee quite reasonable. The other tools are good too, however each serves a specific purpose. You are not a true SEO unless you subscribe to Moz. These guys do great work! Thank you!
Raven works really well, but the mozinars and supporting community is what makes Moz so important to your digital strategy.

My favorite tool is SEMrush. I selected Moz to help with link-based research because SEMrush is more focused on keyword data. For the link-based data, Ahrefs is probably the biggest threat to Moz. It has an amazing amount of data, and from the chatter I hear the data is more …
We use Raven Tools and Moz. Raven Tools aggregates Moz data through their partnership, so if you only have $100 a month to spend, consider Raven Tools. SEOmoz vs Majestic SEO - Moz has more more user friendly tools and interfaces but Majestic is more powerful. Majestic has …
