  • Zoom is very easy to use and easy to invite external invitees. I think BlueJeans is better than Zoom in terms of quality
  • Skype for Business: I remember so many issues with things like users, active directory problems, and quality problems. BlueJeans is better, however, Skype for Business has more features. It handles more than meetings and video calls. It can be used as a company communication tool.
  • Slack: great for a day to day communication tool. Better than BlueJeans for collaboration tools like Whiteboard. Bluejeans is much better and easier to manage calls, especially big group calls and meetings.
Overall, I think BlueJeans is the best tool I ever used, the worst part is the Whiteboard and collaboration features.

I have used Google Hangouts, Zoom, Skype, and Slack in the past for video conferencing at work. The main reason that I primarily use BlueJeans is that this is what is supported by IT and is installed in our conference rooms. If I am having a quick meeting with only a few people or just a 1 on 1, I will typically just use Slack to do the video call as it is simpler to make that connection and I already have Slack open. Of all the other services I have used most of them seem to have an easier to use interface and also higher quality video and audio. I have many remote employees in locations that don't have the best bandwidth and often times BlueJeans quality will be so poor that we don't use video at all because it starts to affect audio quality.

I have briefly used Zoom in my free time, not in a working environment. However, I do not find it as easy to use/ user-friendly as BlueJeans. I have also used Skype for Business. However, I do not like the screen sharing option as much as BlueJeans, as the quality is not as good.

The UX of the BlueJeans app is very easy to manage meetings, raising instant meetings, single clicks to join, recording, screen sharing, and ability to be used in low network coverage brings many advantages comparing to the other tools. Giving webinars and meetings to hundreds of people is easy and robust compared to the other tools.

BlueJeans is and continues to be at the top of my list as it is easily command-able and very user-friendly. I admit that I can be swayed to listen to pitches from other products, but I will state that "Well BlueJeans can..." often. The other products have their perks, but BlueJeans as a whole is my favorite option.

I've used Zoom and WebEx and they both have pros and cons but I believe from a consistent standpoint I prefer BlueJeans.

I think BlueJeans is from far the best tool to communicate. Although it wasn't selected by me I'm glad to have BlueJeans at my disposal. From what I can see from this survey, I'm not taking advantage of all the features that I can use. Other tools like the ones described above are very limited when compared with BlueJeans.

BlueJeans definitely feels like the corporate/enterprise horse in this race, which is actually more complex than what our business wants and needs. But we chose it because our enterprise clients use it, and attending meetings hosted by them was a pretty bad experience when we were using other systems.

I have used Skype, Facebook Messenger, Google Hangouts, Zoom, and others. BlueJeans and Zoom are the best products are out there for meetings that require interactive presentations and formality. I believe both products are good. Preference by the people I serve is typically which product they became familiar with first or which product others are using. People want to run a meeting without a hitch, BlueJeans certainly provides that.

BlueJeans was one of the few programs that allowed us to have all our offices use a single platform. In the United Arab Emirates until recently Hangouts and other systems were not reliable.

Compared to the other products we have evaluated, BlueJeans was an easy choice. We have used Skype previously (and piloted Skype for Business), we looked at WebEx and also Zoom. We liked Zoom, but found BlueJeans pricing better. WebEx was more cumbersome and didn't like their bandwidth needs (although the 'requirements' and what actually works were different). BlueJeans (via Florida LambdaRail) was exactly what we needed.

BlueJeans is easier to connect, more stable, more user-friendly, has a better look and feel, and delivers a better experience overall. I genuinely believe this is the best solution in the market.

Skype for Business is unreliable in terms of audio. For some reason, not everyone within the organization is able to communicate via this product. We are currently testing Zoom. It is very similar to BlueJeans and so far I find the set up less intuitive than BlueJeans.

I have used Skype and Zoom. I don't recall really much about Zoom and Skype, outside of they seemed a bit more complicated to use. Skype annoys me actually, because the sign in box pops up EVERY TIME I open up my computer. I would really like it to just go away.

As far as just general meetings, I think BlueJeans is in the same class as Zoom and Blackboard...basically. BlueJeans does lack certain features, like being able to save a chat. BlackboardCollaborate does online learning so well that it would be my goto for that purpose. I would like to see BlueJeans expand in that direction. Because my campus supports the BlueJeans platform, and because of the COVID-19 crisis that caused an unexpected move to remote learning, I do hope BlueJeans looks into how the platform could have been better suited for this situation.
