We were provider will all 3 providers during my time at LinkedIn. We ended up phasing out Bluejeans recently and continued our contracts with Teams (being a Microsoft company) and Zoom due to the quality and consistency that the platform offered. While Zoom is still superior to the other video providers, Teams has been catching up.

We needed a tool that allowed our external users to effortlessly join and collaborate with our internal team. This is where this tool really shines compared to some of the others. BlueJeans fit the need and when it was time for collaboration we were thrilled to hear BlueJeans offered the Breakout Sessions. Some of the others mentioned do not offer the Breakout Sessions, and if they do, maybe less intuitive. This allowed us to divide the full audience into smaller groups so we could collaborate within specialties and bring back findings to the larger group --all within the same tool.

BlueJeans is superior in every category compared to these other apps and the quality is unmatched however it does need better customer service support and more monthly deals on payment plans. Their customer service is good but it can get to be great in due time as well. Overall a great service.

It has a better feature set but isn't as well integrated with respect to notifications as Teams is. Performance seems to be better than on other platforms. Cross-platform use is exceptional. The interface is clunky compared to other tools such as Teams, but there are distinct advantages, such as two windows of screen sharing and viewing participants.

Zoom is too expansive for individuals. Skype is too old-school and does provide the most advanced features as other products do. Teams are not good at noise and echo suppression. Not many people are using Google hangouts. During the pandemic, I only use it once at a conference. Overall, BlueJeans provides the best service at its price. I'm very satisfied.

While using different tools with the Microsoft team, the main difficulty faced by the team is that the tool is part of the office package and managed by the IT team, and it becomes very difficult while we need to connect with agencies or the external stakeholders and this is the place where the tools like BlueJeans Meetings come as a lifesaver and help you to boost your business. In the end, communication is the key to success for any process.

BlueJeans Meetings is the most deluxe, feature-heavy webinar and virtual meetings software program I have used. We began using it to connect for All-Hands Meetings for our country-wide company offices without needing to travel to be together, and we transitioned to using it more frequently once work from home became a necessity. Microsoft Teams later improved its options for video calling but in my opinion, remains a weak option that people mostly use because it integrates with the Microsoft software we've already bought into and not because it offers anything special. Teams seems to be a lackluster version of Slack that adds video calling, and it's sad that Microsoft ruined its stronghold on video calling that it once had under Skype in exchange for a program that feels like it's still in beta some days. Zoom works well for simple meetings and webinars but I prefer the features that BlueJeans offers for a more robust and connected community in video calls. I have not used Google Meet for large calls but it is sufficient for small meetings because it does not require downloading new software, which is a nice option for clients.

I actually feel that BlueJeans is at the bottom of these two competitors. Blue jeans could be the best for a position that is internally facing, but with my often client-facing work, I do not leverage BlueJeans for as much value as it can add to an internal-facing employee.

Due to the pandemic, the video conferencing space became a highly saturated market, with almost every single option becoming more than passable. As such, each company had to focus on something in order to stand out. BlueJeans focused on its audio quality, one-to-many video conferencing, and easier screen sharing features, which allowed it to do well in the education space in which I used it. Zoom has become the standard, but it does not have many standout features other than its name. Microsoft Teams is a well-designed platform that is much better suited to persistent and ongoing communication between a set group of people, but those features come with overhead and require setup time. Finally, while Discord largely enjoys feature parity with Teams, its focus on gamers has kept it out of the corporate world. BlueJeans is a good option if participants are willing to install a program on their device and appreciate the audio quality, administration features, and simple screen sharing compared to other platforms. Other options do exist, however, and BlueJeans may struggle to differentiate itself in a competitive space.

BlueJeans provides a value and when used regularly is easy to navigate. When using many different platforms a user can get confused. Features in BlueJeans are not as extensive as other platforms.

Bluejeans started to become strong in this virtual meetings and conferencing categories when many systems were not as powerful and feature packed and this gives them a certain kind of a lead in bringing the best and latest features to the platform, which is why I think there are so many frequent updates as well.

Of all the different meeting software and platforms I have used, I believe that BlueJeans is by far superior to the others. The user experience, call and meeting quality and ease of use interfacing with conference room systems is incomparable. I also feel that the BlueJeans mobile app has been optimized for the mobile experience and allows for the user to have the same connected experience on their phone as they would on the desktop app.
