We use isolved to process payroll for over 20 different restaurant clients and not having to do bank rec for payroll checks and not having to processing payroll taxes is a plus with having so many clients. It's easy to customize to each of our clients needs for their payroll.

It's a great benefit for us to not be paying payroll taxes and have tax experts we can go to instead. Also, not having to print and ship our own payroll checks to 20 clients is a time saver that allows us to work on other items for our clients.

We use iSolved for payroll services only. We have 3 main users for payroll with staff logging into to retrieve paystubs only. I would recommend the platform as we have very few issues with payroll. It meets the needs of our organization.

Cons
  • My main concerns are with the customer service. We have a tough time getting responses to questions/concerns and seem to have trouble connecting with a knowledgeable representative. This has improved as recently as this week though. I was able to speak to 2 representatives that understood my questions and are working to find the answers and detail we need.
I feel the platform is very user-friendly. We run payroll for @ 65 without the need for support. I would love to see the report writer function include instructions (more than the webinars) or become more user-friendly. I have a difficult time generating reports that will populate with the information I need such as a simple census or even a more in-depth payroll data report which we need to provide for our 401(k) and insurance brokers. It seems like there should be a format where we could just drag items and sample the display when creating reports.

We use iSolved for Payroll and time off, including PTO and SICK, where applicable.
  • Very User Friendly
  • Easy to Navigate
  • Easy to Edit/Updated Employee Information
Cons
  • Building my own reports is not my strong point- more basic reports would be helpful
  • Options to use the platform in different languages
I oversee the Payroll process and it is pretty seamless with iSolved!

Our organization uses isolved for all our payroll and timekeeping. We also use it for benefit enrollment and tracking. Having everything in one location, with one login has saved me a tremendous amount of time in my day to day tasks. The staff is super friendly and eager to help!

Cons
  • Report writer could be easier to navigate
  • Could have a more thorough employee profile
I have not found any areas that isolved is less appropriate

We use the HR, time management and payroll unites of isolved. It replaced the need for manually inputting data for time, etc. We were able to give all of our managers access to the system to manage their own employees. The prior system was ran only by myself and another employee. It is nice to have the time validated by a manager that is involved and knows the situation of our employees.
  • Time management is much easier
  • The ability to have multiple managerial users
  • The HR onboarding is a nice feature
Cons
  • The onboarding could be a little more user friendly
  • The isolved Go App has a few issues that could be addressed
  • The online version doesn't always work.
isolved works great for the payroll aspect. We have never had any issues with the payroll system. The app however, various employees have had issues with requesting time off and figuring out how it works. Their time bank isn't very easy to understand for our employees.
