We use the SharpSpring from Constant Contact for the following: tracking ROI and progress with sales leads; social media planning; tracking automation; lead scoring and more. It helps us identify opportunities and the stage of prospects in the pipeline. It also helps us with projections and budget planning, as well as priorities. I personally use it for tracking marketing efforts, i.e. social media post engagement, email analytics, and landing page development.

It's relatively easy to create landing pages on our website and use them to push newsletters out to targeted segments. The online help desk is always prompt and takes care of questions. I find the social media tool a little awkward to use in comparison to other tools I've used in the past. That needs some work.

We use SharpSpring for marketing automation including handling our marketing contacts, campaigns, landing pages, website analytics, and more. With SharpSpring, we have a lot more visibility into our leads' behaviours and how they are engaging with our content. This helps us determine their readiness to engage with the Sales team. SharpSpring is integrated with Salesforce so our marketing team can support our sales team, without the need for them to learn a new tool.

With the Salesforce integration, we are able to keep our Sales team focused inside Salesforce without them needing to learn a new tool. Our Marketing team uses SharpSpring to nurture leads before handing them off to the Sales team. Though the features are available, SharpSpring would not be suitable for social media management or blogs; our third-party tools do a better job at that.

SharpSpring allows us to easily integrate email marketing, with client relationship management and tie it all together with a robust marketing automation platform. Everything ties together and lives in one easy-to-use platform that makes it easy for everyone from Jr. Salespeople to Sysadmins to manage and operate the system. Very intuitive to use, and not too bad to maintain, at all!

We use SharpSpring to market our webinars with emailers and landing pages. We also use the sales pipeline and life of a lead to convert more leads and increase our overall sales. These features help us capture more leads and nurture them to conversion which we previously could not do.
  • Their Emailers are very easy to construct and user-friendly. It takes your Newsletter and sales emails to the next level, especially with the action groups and trigger functionalities.
  • The life of the lead functionality allows you to see when leads get warmer, so you know when to send them what. Helps improve conversions.
  • Their email builder could really do with an overall back function.
Very well suited for large corporate and any firms looking to utilize tracking and email marketing to the maximum. It is good at nurturing leads and converting them. I would say since SharpSpring is a little bit pricey that I would not recommend it for tiny firms that are in FMCG sectors and that barely utilize email, never mind email marketing.

We have implemented SharpSpring for our clients and are using it ourselves for Marketing Automation, email marketing, and social media marketing. Our clients are very pleased with the way we create leads for them. SharpSpring gives a lot of insight into the way leads are generated and we use the automation tool also for cross-selling and staying in touch with existing customers.

SharpSpring is mainly used as our contact information management software. We utilize the lead scoring and opportunity tracking functions to determine how our Account Reps should focus their time. Drip campaign creation, implementation, and tracking can all be done from within the software. Automated workflows are created often to communicate with a large number of customers, including some while excluding others based on criteria provided by us.

We have a team of 10 or so account reps across all locations that utilize SharpSpring daily. For large companies with 100+ daily users, it may be better to use HubSpot or Salesforce.

We currently use SharpSpring in the sales and marketing departments as a marketing automation software and also as a lightweight CRM. It fulfills our needs above and beyond for marketing automation. For CRM, the lead scoring capabilities are fantastic and the tied-in automation free up the sales team for higher-value tasks.
  • The customizable contact manager is a great tool as it allows all of the sales team to sort and filter the way each of them prefers.
  • The email automations are easy to set up (with a little practice, and a bit of logic) and make life so much easier. You can tie them into triggers your leads have stepped into (filling out a form, watching a video on your site, etc.), or simply have them sent out from a tag or a persona assignment (automated or not).
  • The life of the lead is very helpful. Seeing the full story of your lead, in that they may have only filled out a form today, but they've actually been visiting your site for 4 years, is really helpful prior to picking up the phone.
  • While I love the email automations, I do wish they were a little easier to setup. Or it came with templates.
  • The dialer feature definitely has some glitches. One in a while it butchers the number you're calling from and instead of +1(Areacode) it randomly deletes the +1 and then you're calling from +45 or +7.. and your leads ask if you're in Russia (or don't pick up at all...).
I would definitely recommend SS to a team looking for an inexpensive marketing automation solution that has fantastic support (they answer SO fast!) and also needs a lightweight CRM. I don't think this is the right solution for a massive sales team, but for a smaller one likes ours, it's perfect.

SharpSpring is a complete email marketing tool that we use to reach out to clients and market to new leads. We use the automation tools to create drip campaigns and re-marketing campaigns for potential leads. We also use the page builder to build simple landing pages and sales funnels. The contact manager has the ability to mange our list of 30,000+ without any extra costs.

It used by both our sales teams and client care teams to help the business grow. As a marketer I use SharpSpring to create campaigns that convert to sales and retention.

I use SharpSpring daily to help me manage leads, opportunities, and clients. For my own use… I start each day with SharpSpring, looking at visitors to our site, checking my opportunities, and scheduled events. SharpSpring has introduced a bunch of new tools in 2019/20… chatbots, video conferencing (with share screen capability), a remarketing engine, calendar appointment integration. Beyond the typical automation tools, our company uses it to post social media. We also use SharpSpring to manage our clients in the same fashion.
  • A/B testing for emails and landing pages.
  • Identify anonymous website visitors - this shows company that hits the site - not the individual, but still powerful.
  • Automated workflows.
  • Team video conferencing - with screen sharing.
  • Customer Relationship Management - notes, contacts, engagement, lead scoring, communication dashboard.
  • Email marketing.
  • Not a big fan of the new billing process which requires us to invoice new clients through them rather than invoicing them ourselves. This has caused a number of issues with our clients who prefer single-source billing.
  • Better calendar integration with Mac iCal - currently works with Google calendar which our team doesn't use much. This means we need to copy and paste.
  • SEO tool integration would round this tool out nicely however we do have other capable tools for this.
The original model was very well suited for marketing agencies. I suppose it still is, however they seem to have changed the game plan somewhat with the client direct billing.
I don't think the system is suitable for micro-businesses. Even those with 10-15 sometimes don't understand the value of the platform.

It allowed us to track our leads and helped to ensure that nothing fell through the cracks, as we could set reminders and tasks. It also helped significantly with outreach since the acquisition from SharpSpring from Constant Contact.

  • The interface is easy and it's quick to learn; new team members can pick it up quickly.
  • Clear indicators on past due items help to ensure things don't slip through the cracks.
  • To my knowledge, there isn't phone support, at least not on our plan. Email support seemed sufficient for our needs though.
SharpSpring from Constant Contact is great for our organization in that it's easy to use and easy to learn. The opportunities are clearly visible, it's easy to add custom fields, and it's easy to add information and move leads through the sales pipeline. From a management perspective, it seems to give clear reporting and indicators of the team's tracking to goal.

SharpSpring from Constant Contact is a robust platform for users who will be sending frequent emailers and really want to take advantage of marketing automation. The visual workflow builder for automations and action groups makes it very easy to target users who visit specific pages, open emails or click on links. The sales pipeline is also fairly simple to use, and the sales reports are highly functional for active sales teams. The list-building functionality also makes it very easy to segment audiences based on a number of criteria, such as form fills of specific forms, pages visited, etc.

Our sales and marketing teams use SharpSpring. After having Leadfeeder for a year, we changed to SharpSpring because we were looking for more functionality. SharpSpring didn't give us everything we wanted, but it was the best overall solution. Sales and finance love the opportunity and pipeline reporting. Prior to SharpSpring, we used Excel to track the pipeline. Cumbersome is probably the best description of that process. With SharpSpring, it is much faster and more streamlined--easier to get a quick glance or a deeper dive.

Marketing uses it to track web guests and trends, emailing, forms, and the marketing automation. Because of SharpSpring, we have a much greater sense of how our customers engage with us. In today's world, that matters.

Big picture, if you want to understand which companies are coming to your site and what content they consume, SharpSpring does that. You can get some reporting on web traffic, like entrance pages. But you can't get exit pages. You need the complete picture, not just a partial.

The functionality for sending to lists is OK. But I'd like to set things up such that if someone doesn't open an email after three days, I can automatically send another email. Right now, I can't do that.

The campaign tracking is OK. But several improvements would greatly enhance the value that SharpSpring brings to the organization. One is the cost of campaigns. I can't enter the cost of a campaign to see what my cost per lead and cost per sale is. That is fundamental. When looking at a campaign, I can't click to drill down to see a more granular level. I need that.

SharpSpring is a huge program. It does a lot. The good news is that it has a ton of functionality. The bad news is that learning all of that takes time and unless you use features frequently, you have to dig to find how to do some tasks.

Sales made easy. Our Sales teams uses SharpSpring from start to finish in our sales process. It is where we manage our contacts. We assign buyer personas for dynamic content. The "Life of the Lead" feature gives us a view of what has been done and how successful it was. We put in notes and can make calls directly from the app. We have our email strategy planned and implemented for the upcoming year. The campaign and List feature allow for quick targeting of our prospects. We track our sales opportunities for ROI and where to increase/decrease our marketing tactics. We also offer SharpSpring to our clients.
  • Email marketing with Smart emails and Mail Sync!
  • Workflows for automation. We use that feature for 80% of our email marketing.
  • We use Sales Dialer as well. It is a game changer.
  • The "Unengaged" list. Allows our team to come up with other strategies for contacting a prospect as well as allowing us to update or delete a contact.
  • Social media. When a contact is shown to have a LinkedIn profile we automatically reach out to connect.
  • When using a list or the advanced feature, after the user makes a change SharpSpring automatically goes back to the contact manager. If I have more changes to make, I have to go back to the list or the advanced search each time. I should be able to stay in the list and have a button to proceed back to the contact manager.
  • Alerts to admin at least 24 hours before admin needs to reconnect Social accounts.
We have had huge success using the email marketing feature in SharpSpring. From design to reporting, it has allowed our organization to be seen by the right prospects in a professional manner while tracking our engagement by campaigns and opens/clicks. This reporting allows our team to update tactics and contact's data in an easy and quick way. The automation feature has really helped us with our follow-up! The Sales Dialer is a game-changer as well as the Sales Optimizer!

SharpSpring is a go-to resource with all the tools needed for a start to finish marketing - sales solution. It's our CRM and marketing platform; we rely on it to monitor, track and analyze activity and respond in a timely manner. We use it to attract, nurture and maintain prospects/clients. With lead scoring, personas, notification, automated workflows, campaigns and customizable pipelines we're able to keep on top of opportunities. With dynamic emails and landing pages, chatbots and forms we can communicate effectively with targeted messaging.

It would also be particularly good should you already have a CMS/functional website where you are looking to improve on your content activities in a more strategic manner.

I think SharpSpring is very complete and helps our organization to do marketing automation and sales in only one software with every information integrated and tracked. In our company we use email and landing pages with lead scoring to reach our real prospects and with the CRM integrated, our sales team can be in contact with those prospects and maybe close the deal using only one tool.

SharpSpring is well suited for companies who need a lot of functionalities to automate their marketing, going from a simple email marketing tool and landing pages to a very advanced tool for lead scoring, ads and social media management, and CRM. It is less appropriate to companies in need of only a few functionalities because the cost becomes expensive.

SharpSpring has enabled our sales team to do higher-value tasks as it automates basic emails, marketing campaigns, and with a little work, it can even do more complex customized emails.

At first, we started using Sharpspring as an automation platform for our company; however, the more we became familiar with its various resources and features, we have officially adopted it to optimize our processes across the whole organization. Today, we use Contact Manager and Sales Pipeline for the sales and account management departments; and we implemented it in the marketing team for e-mails, landing pages, dynamic forms, lead tracking, and, most importantly, automated workflows, which had a very positive impact in our productivity overall. We appreciate the individual tools, but Sharpspring did wonders for team work in general. I would point to the CRM tool as the most important and efficient one for our team in the present moment, since it is very flexible and customizable, and can be applied to several different industries. The new automation flows allowed us to focus on our top priorities, eliminated unnecessary work, and spared us a lot of time.

One of the best things about Sharpspring is how simple and effective the marketing tools are; plus, how customizable the sales pipeline is for any client within different sections of the industry. Also, the e-mail marketing tool is very powerful and dynamic within its content capabilities and the form creation tool is very intuitive and yet very effective. I should also point out how effective and amazing the customer support is; very attentive and helpful team. I believe that Sharpspring could be even better if other features were updated; the landing page builder still lacks some robustness, but it does the job. The platform is also missing out on push notification and native SMS integration, which would really be a plus in our work processes.
