Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now
We use it for Human Resources Information and Payroll. It's used mainly by HR and Finance, but all employees have access to update their personal information, open enrollment, and access pay and annual statements. HR uses it for data reporting and maintenance, some benefits administration automation, setting up benefits self-service. Finance for payroll and related taxes, annual statements, etc.
Pros
- Comprehensive employee data storage.
- Quick payroll delivery.
Cons
- Departments within ADP don't communicate well - so problems can bounce around and take forever to resolve.
- They are quick to sell-in carrier connections and management reports, but setup is laborious and slow.
- Neutral. We believe it's competitive for how we use it.
- Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, including COBRA administration
- 401(k)
For all of the above ADP manages or should be managing new users/enrollments and terminations, as well as carrying through payroll deductions and ACH calculations for those providers. Setup has been difficult to set-up and troubleshoot. If you can get a feed into production that's working - great, but expect it to take months if that feed stops working or needs a fix.
This system was grandfathered in before my time and has so much historical data that we haven't looked to replace . . . yet.
