Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT

Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT manages our donor data. It also processes most of our donations. We also use it to send out blast emails and track donor interactions. We also use it to report to our board and funders regarding our giving metrics.
  • The user interface is relatively intuitive and clean to navigate
  • Ability to process gifts is easy and you can also go into a record and add gifts, process a credit card, and select how the gift is allocated across funding streams
  • The email platform is much better than the online express version in the database view
  • NXT queries are not as robust as the database view. For simple ones, I can use NXT, but for more complex queries, I have to go to the database view
  • You can’t attach pledge payments to an outstanding pledge to spend it down. You can only do that in the database view
  • Limit how big files can be in blast emails. Pictures have to be minimized, and you can put a video
  • Ease of use
  • Ability to store a gray deal of info on a donor
  • Ease of gift processing
  • Time saved through streamlining processes means better team morale
The retention data is great and we hope to get training on how to better utilize the reports function.

Yes

For donor data management overall, I think it’s great but I would like for it to function more robustly like the database view. The email module also works well but does require some work around for more creative graphics. Editing of records is also limited and requires logging into the database view.
