Overall Satisfaction with Central

Central is the software we use to provide remote support to our company's internal users. Before using Central, remote access was slow and delayed which caused some problems during the service, among them, when Windows requested Administrator access the resolver agent could not enter his credentials. With Central this was solved, making the service much easier, besides all the service being audited
  • Fast remote access, no delay and no problem with computers with two or more screens
  • You can draw on the user's screen, lock the keyboard and mouse, and all of it is software that has logs for auditing
  • Central, also provides silent installation and helps with scripting for GPO enforcement which is a plus when working with multiple users
  • Lists all the computers in your domain that have the tool installed, just click on the desired computer to connect
  • Can remotely access the computer without the user noticing (hidden)
  • It could pull up the user's login in addition to the hostname
  • Employee shortcuts like "win+r", "Ctrl+shitf+dell", on the computer that is connected remotely. This is needed
  • Being able to minimize the bar in the top corner of the screen that is left when you are connected to a remote computer
  • Time, many times when some service needed privileged access (administrator) the resolver agent needed to go to the user and this travel time (10 - 15 minutes) because this is a large company. Basically we reduced 50 minutes of service to 20, even 10 minutes
  • After the implementation we achieved a 20% increase in our ticket resolution rate and a 57% increase in the SLA service rate
I am giving it a score of 8, because the solver user interface is not that "friendly", especially when you want to extract 100% from the tool. It is necessary to have recurrent training and practice in the tool.But if it is for basic remote access tasks, it would be rated 10
Since implementation, we have not had any downtime problems

In our quotations and evaluation of the suppliers the best proposal and best service was from Central. The company asks to quote 3 companies, and the best of them in our evaluation taking into account cost benefit was Central (LogMeIn). The access to computers in Central's domain is better, since we have a list of computers, without the need of IP or anything like that to connect

Recommended scenario: Medium-sized companies between 1000 employees, when you want to access remote computers in your domain quickly, Central is certainly a recommended tool.

Not recommended scenario: Companies that have computers outside their domain, especially when you provide support for other companies or on personal computers, in that case Rescue is recommended.
