Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
We use ClickUp to manage the different projects, and track different to-do lists. It enables us to track and prioritise work for our team members. We also use it a little bit as a product management tool. It is very useful to help us gather everything in one place. We can log and prioritize needed features, brainstorm ideas, etc.
- Very easily customizable to meet our needs. We were able to setup a structure that makes sense for our project and it can do basic stuff or more complicated stuff at the same time, we are not stuck to a single way of working.
- It is extremely user friendly, we did not need any extensive training to get started.
- The interface is pretty nice, and again, I think the customizability is really the strong point.
- Since it is web based, sometimes the interface is a bit slow.
- Increase productivity in the sense that everything was on different platforms so we would end up losing the grip on some stuff, Ideas got lost in emails, chat, paper list.. Now everything is in one place
- Better tracking, communication and traces of what we are doing, what was done, and the decision taken.
ClickUp really helped us with our general organization and team sharing. Instead of everything being logged on different platforms, everything is in one place. It is a lot more simple than searching all our emails for decision that were taken, tasks that needed to be done, etc. It is also very easy to create some private project and some open projects and decide who has access to what so this greatly improves teamwork.
Yes, ClickUp was able to help us simplify our workflow be reducing the number of apps we use to track everything. We don't have many repetitive projects so we did not play much with the automations at the moment and I don't think our current situation needs it very much.
Before ClickUp, we used Trello for a while. It is a great tool but very simple and limited. We tried a couple of different options like Asana and monday.com but in the end we decided to go with ClickUp because it was easier to get started and more customizable. If I remember correctly, it also offered some features that others would offer only on more expensive subscription tiers.
