Overall Satisfaction with Concur Travel and Expense
My entire organization uses Concur to code expenses across all departments. We are a multi-service event company, and it is imperative for employees to code all expenses to the specific budgets of each project. Concur Expense has helped us keep track of various expenses in which a company credit card is used to purchase something for an event or something in the office. Building reports and attaching receipts to expenses is very simple and user-friendly, and it is a very straight forward process, which is great for those of us in the office who are needing to do this on the fly.
- Coding Expenses
- Tracking Receipts
- Building reports
- Notifications
- It takes some training for a first time user - maybe there are ways in which the coding/allocating process could be made easier
- I wish there was a way for Concur to be linked to my inbox so that it can automatically add a monthly expense receipt (unless there is already a way to do this??)
- Occasional glitches when you are trying to change info on multiple expenses in a report
- Better job coding for expenses.
- Easy budgeting.
- Digitalizing expense records.
- Easy access to expenses made for specific projects.
I have not used any other product besides Concur Expense in the year I have worked for this company, but I can't imagine any reason why I would want to try another product. Concur works very well for what we do, and in my mind, it is the best product for expense tracking/reporting out there (I worked for another company beforehand that also used Concur, so it seems to be a very commonly used platform). Concur works well for our workflow, though I understand if it may be too complex for a smaller company with simpler needs.
