Overall Satisfaction with Deputy

Deputy is used across the 9 departments in our organization. We use it for scheduling and time and attendance. I don't know how we did the rostering pre Deputy given that we have around 80 employees. It saves a lot of time and I love the ability to copy schedules from one week to another. The time & attendance keeps employees honest. Deputy is a powerful tool and great to use, especially when you learn your way around it. Great report building ability too.
  • Scheduling - easy to use and ability to copy schedules from one week to another.
  • Public Holidays can be inserted so that it is easy for managers to roster around.
  • Published shifts go to employee emails or texts so that they know when they are working.
  • Employees can apply for leave via Deputy.
  • When onboarding an employee, I find it is a nuisance to enter each section at a time in setting up the profile. It would be better if Deputy can recognize what you are up to and just flow on to the next question.
  • Deputy saves a lot of time in scheduling.
  • Deputy cuts down on paper use.
  • Easy for employees to log in and out including for meal breaks.
Never used any other like product.

Deputy is easy to use once you are shown how and where to find what you need to do.
Ensure you have a qualified consultant to help you implement Deputy into your business.
I find Deputy suits our needs and is compatible with our payroll software. Onboarding a new employee or editing an existing employee could be streamlined.
