Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot CRM

Over the years I've tried numerous CRMs from the basic to the ridiculously complicated and none of them have every really fitted it with how I like to work. A client of mine was using it last year which was my initial introduction to the product and with the base CRM being free it seemed a good opportunity to try it.
It was really simple to import my existing contacts. And the tight integration of Gmail makes tracking engagement really effortless. (We changed from exchange server to Google Apps for Business to facilitate this and it was worth it).
We've always used quotation software for generating good looking documents so (yet again) switching to PandaDoc was straightforward and allows the process of going from an enquiry to generating a quote in a matter of minutes.
My favorite feature though is the ability to dial out via the app and record the conversation thus ensuring nothing gets missed.

  • Works identically across all platforms and devices
  • Good support
  • Needs a big screen to work at its best
  • A native app rather than browser based for desktops would a welcome addition
  • Integration with Trello would also be welcome
  • Higher conversion rates means it pays for itself month on month
  • We never forget or mislay an enquiry
Some are too basic, others are stupidly complex (fine in the right environment though) but Hubspot works well for us.
It works well for us as a small company. We can see whether an enquiry is being viewed and interacted with thus determining whether it is worth while to follow up on enquiries.
