Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp

We use Mailchimp to manage all of our emails sends across multiple channels. Mailchimp has helped us organize our emails and saved us a ton of time. We have several teams using Mailchimp and [it] is used for internal and external communication. We mainly use if for mass communication and abandon cart emails.
  • Has more integrations than any other email platform.
  • Easy to set up and get started.
  • Very reliable.
  • Some of the automation tools could be more robust.
  • The cost is pretty high compared to other alternatives.
  • Mailchimp has saved us a lot of time due to how easy it is to use.
  • Great templates to help us with our branding.
Mailchimp focuses on email and they do a good job overall compared to the competition. The platform is easy to use and makes sending emails a breeze. If you need something more robust then I would recommend Marketo as you can do anything you can imagine. However, you will need a team to run it. Mailchimp can be run by one individual.
Mailchimp is very simplistic and easy to use. The setup takes minutes and you will be ready to start emailing your lists. One of my favorite parts of Mailchimp is that it is the most widely supported email tool. There are tons of tutorials that help you accomplish pretty much anything. There are also a lot of integrations that further its usability.
I don't think Mailchimp is a good solution as an all-in-one unless you have a small business. We use Mailchimp combined with Marketo and Salesforce. Marketo is used for complicated email automation and our database and Mailchimp is used for one-off sends. But if I had to choose one all-in-one solution it would be Mailchimp.
We mainly use Mailchimp for one-off sends through various channels in our organization. We have learned that Mailchimp is by far the easiest program to use compared to other email tools. They have a simple email builder that allows you to train people in your organization outside of email to create and send emails easily.
Mailchimp is suited for simple email programs to mass communicate with your leads or customers. It's very easy to set up and get going. They have a ton of templates you can use and customize and an easy-to-use drag and drop builder.

Mailchimp is not ideal if you have some complex automation that needs to be set up. You would be better off with a program such as Marketo.
