Overall Satisfaction with Marketo
Our Marketing team (in conjunction with our email marketing agency) is using Marketo to manage our customer and prospect database, send email campaigns and create drip nurture campaigns.
Pros
- Automatically sending nurture campaigns, and adjusting membership in nurture tracks based on behavior or other qualification criteria.
- Tracking online behavior of both known and unknown contacts.
- "Smart lists" that build lists based on your selected criteria.
Cons
- The email builder is not very intuitive.
- Lists can be slow to export, even if they're small.

Increase revenue with existing customers by upselling more advanced products. Nurture prospects from marketing campaigns (including email, events, telemarketing, etc) until they are sales-ready
- HubSpot and Oracle Eloqua
We selected Marketo because it had the right balance of tools for our needs. It was more advanced than some of the other platforms we assessed, but not so advanced that we wouldn't be able to use it effectively or be paying for tools we didn't need.
