Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams is rolled out for the whole company and for departments. We encourage users to use direct chats and multiple chats for communications and use teams and channels for projects and department teams. We are planning to convert 365 groups to Teams instead as well. We migrated our Slack users to Teams, that enables us one single collaboration system for the whole company. It helps us to find folks and have data and contents in one single location.
- Effective search capabilities: Searching for people, content, and data was never easier all at one tool.
- Ease of use: Pretty self-explanatory usage helps enable the product easier.
- Integrations: Good integration with Microsoft Office suite.
- Growing external parties, bot framework that will help the developer community.
- More notification options wanted to flag for future reminders and stuff.
- App availability in 1-1 and group chats.
- Private channels.
- We decommissioned Slack and other tools and consolidated to teams, thus saving a lot of money for the organization.
- Helped engineering teams on effective trust-building in the organization.
Teams lead them all. Having a large number of teams and channel accesses is great. It is a part of Office 365 license which makes it pretty much free to use.
