Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is useful for collaborating between colleges on design ideas in unison, despite not being in the same office. we use it often as it is great for sharing ideas and presenting them. Nice that it is versatile, you can use it for simple sketches and diagrams, as well as mind maps and mood boards for the early stages of a design.

  • Really easy to share and collaborate your work.
  • Pen tool can lag sometimes.
  • It can be slow to use when a board has lots of images in it.
  • Only allowed a few editable boards at a time on the free version.
  • Improves productivity.
  • Improves communication.
Very easy to set up and use. The interface is well designed and requires a very little learning curve to use its full functionality.
I cannot comment on this.
It has made it very easy to collaborate, it is the go-to method.

Good for sharing work for other colleagues to look at and collaborate on. Very good for the early stages of a design when you are mapping out ideas and doing rough sketches and mind maps. Also very good for explaining something that is better being described visually as you can draw what you mean to live as the other person is looking at the board. There is a point in the design stage where things need to be a bit more detailed and Miro is less useful for this.
