Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro provides me with the ability to better collaborate with my business clients in a way that they can directly interact and offer input into the discussions we have. I've used it to conduct discovery sessions on requirements, project retrospectives, building and adjust roadmaps, brainstorming sessions, and so much more. Miro gives me the flexibility to build out the workspace that I need for the task at hand.

  • Permissions can be confusing.
  • Managing large number of boards (where did I put that board? which board was it?).
  • More templates (personally interested for product management).
  • Improved communications.
  • Improved productivity (reusing boards, leveraging templates).
  • Improved morale through collaboration and shared sense of contribution.
Overall, love the way you can see and work with fellow employees. Some UI/UX challenges like the accuracy of trying to click on certain elements, which sometimes leads to moving items that weren't expected. Templates are helpful as starting points, so would like to see more of them. Would like to see more improved ways of importing/exporting data.
Pretty easy to understand and get the grasp of most concepts without much help. Can bring on people that have never used the application, and still have them be productive and involved in work. Some challenges with understanding and setting permissions on boards, that take a little bit of getting used to.
Miro has helped our team to better communicate with other clients/customers, as the visual aspect of boards has broad appeal. Our team can work on the same board easily despite time zone differences, and feel that they can offer input in a meaningful way. Has allowed us to share outboards that have been successful with other teams we work with.

Miro is well suited for any discussion that is aided by a visual representation, or where you are looking for simultaneous input from a number of people at once. It is great for helping to broker and bring out discussions, and great for capturing feedback. Particularly enjoy using it for brainstorming activities. Can also be used to provide asynchronous work as multiple members can work on the same board.
