Overall Satisfaction with Miro
We at Bell TV district are trying to adopt SAFE agile methodology. As part of this we plan our Program Increments (PI) every 3 months. This is where Miro is mostly used by various teams to plan out what work will be done in and what sprint. This tool helps us visualize the whole workload of all the teams involved and gives the executives/directors a nice overview of the 3 month program increment strategy of their district.
Miro is also used by some teams to plan out project initiatives and tracking major milestones on a high level. This really helps when a new employee joins the project, all the information on Miro helps them catch up with all the progress/updates/challenges etc.

- Multi user functionality is really seamless
- new features on sticky notes helps with tracking multiple items
- it can be good for diagrams as well
- the timing feature is also useful to hard stop some discussions when using miro board
- sometimes its not easy to create lines between stickies in a nice way without it becoming messy
- its not easy to create diagrams compared to tools like Whimsical
- improved productivity
- clarity of work going on with other teams who are working on the same board
- improved overall project roadmap view for better understanding
- negatively: people can get lost on the board due to the nature of how to move around in the board
Yes, not just new but old projects as well.
We track all our program increment (3 months work ahead) with about 7 to 9 teams involved. All of them are located across Canada (Toronto, Montreal, Quebec, Halifax) therefore remote work is very compatible and this saves costs of various people flying in to one location. We are also planning a virtual software developers event for within Bell Canada, and all the planing details are being done on Miro. The voting process of some selections, scheduling, brainstorming ideas using sticky notes etc. This really helped with collaboration and staying up to date.

Multi-user flexibility in terms of being up to date real time was very beneficial for us in Miro.
Miro acts like a whiteboard for us. so we don't always have to be formal with words/visualizations.
SingleSignOn feature for corporations is helpful. Most tools have it but not all.
