Overall Satisfaction with NetSuite ERP

Netsuite helps us track sales, inventory, demand planning, and more, all in one place. It's customizable so that any organization can tailor it to their needs. One of the most helpful tools is the inventory tracker, where the system can tell you how much is on hand, backorder, what's been ordered, and it's estimated arrival.
  • Inventory Status
  • Sales Tracking
  • Customization for individual business needs
  • Report running is a bit involved
  • Not user friendly at times
  • Positive, helps us track inventory status easier
  • Positive, gives us a pulse of AP vs AR
We use AX for some of our older operations that haven't been imported to our Magento instance. AX is comparatively harder to navigate vs NetSuite, pulling reports for example can be a pain if you don't have every metric, parameter, etc needed. Given it's an older system, it's liable to crash or cause problems as well.

Do you think NetSuite ERP delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with NetSuite ERP's feature set?

Yes

Did NetSuite ERP live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of NetSuite ERP go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy NetSuite ERP again?

Yes

The platform is relatively simple to traverse for basic info about products, inventory, etc. Running reports, pulling out requested info, etc. can be more involved and may require additional training in some cases to properly run and pull these reports.
Support is relatively quick to respond, although implementation of solutions can lag at times, simply due to the complexity of your customized instance, the nature of the issue, and the planning involved so as not to impact related systems (ie we use Netsuite as our ERP for Magento, complexities between the relationship with one another can bog down solutions)
Netsuite works well for Medium to Large businesses. Smaller businesses may not see the benefits as its features are more suited for larger organizations who have hundreds or thousands of items across different warehouses. It's particularly useful when inventory tracking and status is needed to be calculated to provide customers the most accurate data possible.

Using NetSuite ERP

The users within our organization span a wide range, from customer service, to sales, ecommerce, and upper management. Each function accesses different information, sales may pull daily sales rep reports, marketing creates promos, and my own department, ecommerce, checks on product data. We also use it to estimate in stock dates, reference old item numbers, and other useful bits of info.
4 - Our in-house NetSuite support is a relatively small team. The skills needed I'm not entirely familiar, but our team consists mainly of IT and development resources, whose skills encompass coding (HTML, CSS, etc), website building, etc.
  • Inventory stats
  • Product data storage
  • Creation and management of items
  • Sales reporting
  • Promotion creation
  • Customization of certain fields
  • Inventory estimation
NetSuite is able to cover all of our needs, spanning multiple departments and managerial levels. We use it daily for a multitude of functions, including creating promotions, estimating inventory, pulling historical reports, forecasting sales, and more. Overall, we're very satisfied with NetSuite as an ERP solution and recommend it to medium to large businesses.
