Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use the basic functionality of the Payroll system. We have been very satisfied with the product as we use it. We pay semi-monthly on the 15th and 30th and appreciate the short pre-funding input period.
  • Easy to process - less than 15 minutes if no rate or deduction changes
  • Updating deductions and rates is simple and the process clear
  • Very timely response to questions when we contact the help desk
  • Issues for help desk are resolved quickly
  • We had some isues with SUI in Indiana as we are not required to register and it took a long time for Paylocity tax folks to figure it out.
  • We are switching to a AOS (type of PEO) primarily for more employee input of data and single sign on for benefits.
  • Have thought about using for processing expense reimbursement and high level time keeping, did not seem cost effective for only 11 employees
  • Basic functionality priced right for our Not-for-Profit of about 12 employees
  • Simpplicy appropriate for our small organization
  • Dependability - we could count on things being correct and timely

We evaluated and are in the process of moving to Rippling. This was based on some decision maker's conversations with other organization. Alhtough we asked Paylocity if it is a PEO - the answer was no - most of the functionality of Rippling could have been available at Psylocity.
