Overall Satisfaction with Quickbase

The biggest thing it really does is help minimize the number of different systems that we're using. So instead of having 10, 15, 20 different systems, you're able to do everything in one single platform. And by doing so, it just minimizes. There's an old phrase of too many cooks in the kitchen, so it kind of takes all those extra cooks out and you can be sure everything's flowing right.
  • It takes all your existing systems and it actually connects them together versus having to purchase another system to then figure out how everything can get connected. This has been built up from the beginning to actually help accommodate that.
  • More templates that there are ways that they might code certain ways, certain manners to actually bring information into the system or highlight different data points, rich text images, things like that. If other users could use those as templates as a starting point, that'd be a game changer.
  • All of the above. Simple as that.
It breaks it down to the ABCs. Instead of having to understand something really complex, you kind of reverse engineer it, take exactly what you want from the system, then we do our part to figure out how to get there. So it really just kind of takes you having to think about it or the customer having to think about it instead, it can be put on the company.
Requirements are always changing. So whatever we're saying or the customer's saying that you need today, it's going to change three months from now, six months from now. And Quickbase is good at adapting on the fly. Whereas other systems, you kind of have to finalize all that upfront and stay committed to that a year in. And that's really not how the world works anymore.
We've definitely achieved this benefit and it's the fact that with Quickbase there are different kinds of projects that we might be initiating. So with Quickbase templates, you can automate that starting point, get all your tasks, all your milestones, all the resources that are required on the project to get to that starting point, and actually deliver and ensure your project profitability and your progress around it is also going to be tracked automatically for you.
They all ended up being different systems that are siloed and Quickbase brings everything together.

Do you think Quickbase delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Did Quickbase live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Quickbase go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Quickbase again?

Yes

Quickbase is good about being upfront about where it's not well suited. There are going to be certain complexities around use cases or maybe just people need more robust functionality and a better system might be suited for them because it's going to be more specific to a niche. Quickbase is going to come in when you have so many different systems and so much going on and you really just wanna simplify your process day-to-day in Quickbase and kind of take all those pieces, minimize whatever might be excess, and use it move forward.
