Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Currently just the accounting department but planning to extend to the rest of the organization in the coming years. With the real time feature we are able to change items instantly and see the result and the way we post income has improved dramatically.
Pros
- Accounting payables.
- Posting income.
- Drill down capabilities.
- Real time information.
Cons
- The ACH block in Sage is not approved by our bank because it doesn't have debit and credit piece and several people seem to have problems with it...hoping it gets fixed soon.
- Wish more of the add ons would come included...like the prepaid expenses piece.
- Ability to pin point major expenses and the reason behind them.
- Able to calculate if a department is profitable or not.
- To see clients that are bringing the most revenue at the touch of a button.
Our organization went from a very simple system to Sage so our processing as improved dramatically! Payables used to take us days and now takes us hours. We are still figuring out the AR piece but so far we like it and we are greatly impressed! It has greatly improved how we see income and able to put it in our financial statements.
We currently don't use these.

We ended up going with Sage due to price, ease of use, and customer services. Also the support platforms are amazing! If you have a problem you can post about it and get answers in minutes. They also offer peer conferences which are great so you can learn new things without having to travel too far or wait for the big conference in the fall.

We did not because we have IT in house and haven't experienced many problems.
Yes - One problem is still ongoing but all the other ones were fixed really quickly.
We had a dynamic allocation problem and they did really amazing work getting it fixed and resolved.
