Overall Satisfaction with Tealium Customer Data Hub

The primary challenge for our business is the education of our product benefits and how it works. We started very simply learning how much content customers needed in order to buy, and following the data became more granular in order to understand specifically what content they needed. From there, we developed personalized journeys which identified what content customers had and hadn't seen, and using personalization; we're able to direct customers to the next step through personalized journeys. The 2nd challenge is retention; having acquired customers, we needed to keep them engaged and identify when they would potentially lapse. Customer Hub has also been an enormous competitive advantage here as we identified segments that were previously invisible to us and are now able to trigger activity to communicate at pivotal moments and lengthen and strengthen our customer relationships.

Tealium is a fantastic organization; the people we deal with are extremely smart and passionate about delivering real business impact. At every layer of the business, we encounter engaged team members who are able to help us see the customer journey in a new light or connect us with other businesses that have solved similar challenges.
It's very hard to overstate the impact Tealium Customer Hub has had and continues to have on our business. At every step of the customer journey, we find opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. The move to 1st party data and choosing Tealium to help us was one of the best decisions we ever made. Whether it's advertising cost and effectiveness, retention, or engagement, there isn't a customer touchpoint that hasn't benefitted.
There are many ways to move to a 1st party data model, and it might not seem like Tealium Customer Data Hub is even necessary if you're doing your own data warehousing and have BI tools. What Tealium does is allows you to make sense of customer data and easily do something about it?

Understanding Customer Journeys - very good at making sense of customer interactions with the website that no other tool can do. Developing profiles and personas - based on the customer's journeys, Customer segments are identifiable. Triggering action to achieve objectives - with identified segments it becomes possible to create personalized events. Better commercial outcomes - with actions targeting the right people at the right stage in the journey, the budget can be allocated more effectively and create better business results.
