Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

The customer service is very good in terms of always getting a live person on the phone and an answer to a question. The TriNet team has helped with our HR processes & technology in a variety of ways. Onboarding/Terminations have been invaluable. The check lists and supporting data help our organization through the process easily.
The old dashboard was kind of hard to navigate. TriNet has made improvements to the system and its seems more intuitive to use and explore. The overall usability has improved over the past year, that combined with the fact that we are more familiar with the system helps a great deal.
Our company uses TriNet for all HR, payroll and benefits needs. It allows us to consolidate previously separate systems and software out there into a single sign-in option for our employees. The entire company uses the product and the general feedback has been great. We have a dedicated account manager that helps navigate us through the process, and takes the administrative load off.
  • Administrative HR type things like new hires, terminations.
  • Benefits selection and pricing.
  • Compliance and reliability.
  • The dashboard software is a little bit buggy.
  • Improved payroll accuracy.
  • Stay within HR compliance.
  • Reduce the time HR spent on administrative tasks.
We have used Zenefits and Gusto in the past. They were ok but didn't have the complete suite of features that we were looking for. The only advantage Gusto has over TriNet is that contractor payments and 1099 generation is built in and handled by their service on regular intervals, etc.
I think that TriNet is well suited for small or large organizations. It takes the guesswork out of benefits and HR. Payroll and reimbursements are a breeze with the Payroll dashboard. I think that TriNet should support contractor ACH payments & year end 1099 support. That would make the product more well rounded.
