Overall Satisfaction with Wrike

Wrike is used across many staff at our organization for project management and was formerly used as a ticketing system. Wrike provides a central location for assigning steps, tracking progress, sharing relevant information and documents. Staff are notified when they are tagged and are able to follow tasks to be aware of progress.
  • Information sharing.
  • Democratization of info.
  • Searchable database
  • User friendliness.
  • Simplification of the folders.
  • Standardization of tasks from one to another
  • Requests, which we use as a ticketing system.
  • Tasks that can be shared with others.
  • The ability to attach documents
  • We didn't use a project management system before Wrike, so implementing it has provided some value. However, people still avoid Wrike because they don't know how it works or don't like it.
  • We used Wrike as a ticketing system but have since moved to a true ticketing system since Wrike wasn't cutting it there
  • I'm not aware of any ROI Wrike has given us
  • Jira Service Management (Jira Service Desk)
We had been using Wrike as a ticketing system when it doesn't seem like that is it's main purpose or it's not designed to be used that way. Jira is a true ticketing system. In that sense, it is more simplistic than Wrike, but it also shares some of the downfalls of not being easily searchable.

Slack, Microsoft 365, Jira Service Management (Jira Service Desk)
Wrike is good for sharing information with many different users across an organization. Wrike is good for record keeping and referencing information from the past. Wrike is good for those that have a need or desire to understand progress that has been made on a certain project. Wrike can be difficult to understand and can seem complicated and intimidating. Wrike is not always easily searchable or intuitive.

Evaluating Wrike and Competitors

  • Other
I was not involved in the decision. It was implemented by former employees who chose it, I believe, for the purpose of organization software engineering builds.
I wasn't involved so I cannot say.
