Overall Satisfaction with Wrike

My team and I use Wrike daily. It's our one and only project management tool. We have sub-teams set up to oversee the content creation for particular job functions, i.e., Product Marketing Manager needs, such as videos, blog content, case studies, design guides, etc.
  • Daily reports that show progress on all tasks created by or assigned to me.
  • Outstanding search capabilities.
  • The Team Utilization Report is a valuable source of data to help ensure Marketing sub-teams are all being assigned proper resources.
  • Many new users miss the "Show more updates" link inside a project/task window. This causes confusion and slows down workflows.
  • It hasn't been quantified, but anecdotally, Wrike has been a tremendously valuable team efficiency enhancer.
Marketing management was responsible for vetting potential project management tools. I wasn't involved.

Do you think Wrike delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Wrike's feature set?

Yes

Did Wrike live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Wrike go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Wrike again?

Yes

Wrike is extremely well suited for managing projects with multiple contributors with a diverse breadth of expertise. It's very useful when rush and/or high-priority projects need to be managed across all contributors, whether onsite or working remotely in different time zones. It is not appropriate when, for example, a simple PDF needs to be reviewed and approved by just a couple of stakeholders. Email is the default method in such scenarios.

Using Wrike

23 - All marketing functions: copywriting, design, social media, analytics, web development, creative direction, management.
The individual who was our team's assigned Wrike liaison is no longer with our company.
  • New video dev projects
  • Multi-faceted campaigns

  • Nothing unexpected or innovative

  • Onboarding marketing resources after company aquisitions
  • Reporting detailed resource usage statistics to senior management
  • Better inform hiring decisions
It's been very useful for our Marketing team and it's what we all know comfortably.

Evaluating Wrike and Competitors

Yes - A very rudimentary project management tool developed in-house.
  • Ease of Use
It was evident that Wrike would be a useful tool that would be learned quickly.
I would recommend soliciting input from businesses in similar technology spaces, and of similar size to ours, as to what they use/have used and what they recommend.
