    ActivTrak is well suited to for the reasons that we wanted a monitoring software solution implemented. It allows us to manage the performance of our overseas offices and those who are working from home, where they do not have the direct management from their Line Manager. The biggest issue for us is, as we have numerous offices in different countries, having to constantly change the time zone to each one before running the reports is time consuming and an annoyance if you forget to change it, as you then have to rerun the report.

    When we made the decision to go cloud based and send our employees home to work remotely we needed something that would help us and them manage their time and keep everyone on track. Desktime makes the team more aware of how they are spending their time both individually and as a team. It allows them to see and track what makes them most productive and what times of the day they are most engaged. Keeps projects on track.

    • Detailed listings of actions at times. done by the second in many cases, very useful.
    • the productive/unproductive listings allow managers at a glance to see their employees use of time
    • Snapshots ( when properly utilized) are very helpful in troubleshooting, strange, occurrences, as well as they're used by Human resources.
    • The IT help desk is very efficient. log in to your portal, bottom right, and in minutes your talking to someone.

    • Rollout through Group Policy could be a little smoother.
    • Alarms for when an employee has been inactive for a specified amount of time.
    • Alert for computers that no longer are active.
    • More streamlined integration with identifying computers and users.
    • More specific breakdowns of classifications, ie - the ability to say Facebook for business is Productive, but scrolling feeds and watching videos is unproductive.
    • Classifications to more easily auto-classify e-commerce hubs and portals.

      We are in agreement that the tool is very handy as a security companion. The system collects and retain relevant historical data to be queried when you desire e.g. in security reviews once a week.

      ActivTrak is a great product that just keeps growing. Having used it for quite some time, we have been able to see ActivTrak grow and evolve as a product. The ActivTrak webinars are also helpful to get to know and learn the product. ActivTrak really just works with little effort needed after the initial installation

      Support is always fast and the agents are ready at all times to help when an issue arises, if the tier 1 agent isn't able to provide a solution to the issue they're asked about they quickly escalate the issue to tier 2 or 3 to ensure that the appropriate support is given to the issue at hand to have it quickly solved. No issue we've had so far has taken more than two days to be solved.

      We were using Currentware and Webspy from Vantage. Neither product could track daily usage in a detailed way ActivTrak can. Also, web spy could only track in-house users whereas ActivTrak can track work from home users. Using Active Trak we were about to combine the features of both software packages into one.

      • Defensive capabilities immediately avoided data exfiltration from an outgoing employee.
      • Trends for underperforming or underdeveloping users can be spotted, analyzed by managers, and used within their overall development management to help staff reach their best potential.
      • Costing for targeted use is relatively low and therefore a "no brainer."
