It's best used for quick and easy campaign creation. I haven't used it for a full on Marketing Automation Platform, so I can't speak to it's effectiveness as compared to a Eloqua or Marketo. But certainly cheaper and easier to implement.

Groove
Groove is especially well suited for communicating value added services, products, education, content, etc. with both existing clients as well as sales targets and prospects. Groove is excellent for personalized mass communication for sales development and lead generation. Groove eliminates redundant activity like retyping the same information or copying and pasting it into different programs. Groove is great for scheduling meetings with clients and prospects and it syncs immediately with everyone's google calendar, which eliminates back and forth email negotiation or phone calls with everyone's busy schedules. As great as Groove (and all tech) is, there is still no substitution for picking up the phone or sending a hand-written thank you note ;)

- Groove connects with Salesforce for quick and easy prospecting.

- I can't add people to Groove then push to Salesforce. Prospects must be in Salesforce then added into Groove. Pushing prospects from Groove to Salesforce could help save on time. But it's a minor inconvenience for the value I get out of the platform.
- A small issue I've noticed is that I have gotten in touch with prospects, marked it as such in Groove, but then the prospect has moved ahead in the Groove Flow when I don't want that prospect to continue anymore.
- I think the addition of a visual timeline of activity with an account or prospect would be helpful. For example, clicking on an account and within a "summary" view of the account, a timeline exists of the date when you created the account, added people, had contact with a prospect, etc. having an overall timeline like this could easily show activity, length of the sales cycle.

I believe Groove is suitable for almost any company dealing with heavy outreach to prospects/clients or more specifically sales. It easily doubles your efforts and again takes these manual processes which you do everyday and in turn automates them while maintaining the accuracy and assurance you require. It's difficult to imagine a company that would not benefit from Groove.

Our Groove representative has been very attentive the the needs of our sales teams. They are always available to provide training for new employees and refreshers for members of the team who have been slow to adopt. The online support is also very good, I have had several questions answered quickly using the online support chat function.

The ones I have used in the past were parts or pieces of the flow. Something goes wrong it's back and worth, this has to talk to that, I don't have the patience or the time. Now I can use one tool for a greater part of the client life cycle from lead to partner.

Although I wasn't the decision maker, I have found that Groove's data tracking is slightly more user friendly than Yesware. Additionally, Groove has made themselves fully available for any trouble shooting or tech issues which is such a value add to someone who can be a bit technically challenged.
