Likelihood to Recommend There are many scenarios that make data.com well suited, but most specifically, it works very well when looking for contacts within a certain zip code. You can sort and find information about these contacts and pay by points. This helps because you are able to pick and choose which you want to pay for.
Read full review Lusha is well suited for sales teams that have a clear target of companies to reach. It needs to work with LinkedIn, so if you have a Premium Sales Navigator LinkedIn license your results will be much better. It still works for teams without Sales Navigator licenses, but I highly recommend to buy the license.
Read full review Pros Data.com is a great way to find out accurate revenue and employee numbers for companies across various industries. Data.com's filtering capabilities allow our team to quickly find the ideal prospects to reach out to. Data.com, being owned by Salesforce, allows for a seamless integration into our CRM. This saves us an incredible amount of time and ensures data accuracy. Read full review Identify prospect from Linkedin/Sales Navigator pages Show email ID and phone numbers of the prospect Reflect the correct/complete name of the prospect Suggest contacts from similar profiles Copy/edit option available for better user friendliness It shows relevant information of the prospect's company as well Read full review Cons Some contacts can be old. Perhaps they could consider validating some that are older than 5 years. They don't always detect duplicate companies. For example, I've added the same company twice before, I don't understand how they allow that, or prevent others from adding duplicates. It doesn't happen very often,, only occasionally. Sometimes data.com will "autocorrect" a job title incorrectly. For example, entering "Director of People & Culture" will autocorrect it to "Director of peopleandculture" If you don't catch it, it looks pretty bad for the next person who wants to view the contact. Read full review It would be nice to have a general idea of how many contacts it has information for on a particular account at the very start before scrolling through the different pages. It would be great to also have the titles of individuals on the list, so it's quicker to sift who to keep in or exclude prior to revealing details. No product is perfect! Some of the information generated can be inaccurate or generic, e.g., a phone number for a persona may not be direct for that individual but could be a general customer service number for the company and could be the same number listed for multiple prospects. Read full review Usability Very intuitive to use and I've never had any confusion with features. Anyone can create an account and use the platform simply by adding a contact or company into the database to earn points. It's a great option if you don't have budget for lists or pay services. Read full review Alternatives Considered Adobe Workfront may not be the direct competitor of Data.com, but for the services I was using, Workfront looked a little better when it comes to the user interface. But Data.com definitely had more powerful features & better integration capabilities. Also, it was easier to play around with the customer journey in Data.com as compared to other tools I have used in the past.
Read full review Zoominfo is on par with Lusha in terms of quality of contacts but is far more expensive. Hunter.io is fine if you only need business contacts but fails in comparison with Lusha's broader options. I have used other solutions but they did not come close to working and I don't even remember what they were.
