Data Axle Genie vs. Definitive Healthcare

If you are looking to enrich your existing database, Data Axel Genie isn't the easiest tool to use. I do like how the contacts are verified, however, you have to pay PER contact if you are enriching, and if you merged existing infrastructures, it's not as easy to clean out your database. And it is very costly for this company.

I think the best scenario for using Definitive Healthcare is if accuracy isn't very important. If you just want to spam a lot of people and you don't really care where the contacts land, they're your vendor. If, on the other hand, you like accuracy and are hoping the commercial list vendor supplies data that will help your business grow, I feel they are less well suited to those use cases.

• I liked the organization of the database it was easy to maneuver.
• Search was fairly easy to maintain.
• If you want to create a list of leads this will work. However, it is primarily for consumer leads not B2B.

• Helps show what locations are under certain systems or groups
• Gives insight into specialties and employee counts

• We have a very specific industry and sometimes drilling down to these leads can be challenging. But with customer service, they have solved this for us.

• Outdated UI and lacks integration with popular software
• Account Management team is unempowered to solve problems or come up with creative solutions.
• Slow response time. I waited 3 weeks for a response from their team on a question.
• Database lack key contacts especially Director level and above. Poor tool for sales team.
• Poor customer service. I constantly felt like I was chasing them for a meeting or on questions.

It was good when we had it but there definitely more softwares out there that provide more information, more current contact info and are much more user friendly

It was unusable for us because key contacts were not there and our sales team had to tell Definitive what contacts were missing. Waste of time and money.

Salesgenie seemed more intuitive and knowledgeable account manager that handled my account. He quickly assisted my company needs and made recommendations based on the information I provided him

I use both. Definitive Healthcare is better when you need specific hospital and clinic names. ZoomInfo only gives you a local address but refers to each location as the health system name so hard to define where particular people are from.

• Nice structure, great way to target hot or cold leads. Great way to get your feet wet
