If you're looking for a robust project management software for your growing small business, my vote is for Teamwork Projects. It helps us manage our small business and our teams internally.If you need advanced features, like KANBAN boards, GANTT charts, time tracking, billing, etc. in your project management tool, Teamwork is a great option.I'm personally not sure how it would scale to larger companies where you would need to manage many schedules, just because I haven't experienced using Teamwork at such a scale.

WorkflowMax is very well suited for a business that wants to track time billed by project, to have an easy way to generate invoices for those projects, and to keep track of overall productivity and invoice status. I imagine it can also be adapted to different types of businesses that deal in goods rather than services and time. I am not sure for which scenarios or businesses the program is not appropriate.

- Allows for fairly simple or elaborate project forecasting depending on the complexity of the job. This allows us to track time by a single project or multiple phases.
- Time keeping and coordination with invoicing software has increased our firm's ability to issue timely and accurate invoices to clients. Has ability to break down projects in numerous ways to meet the needs of our various clients. This means we can invoice by project, phase, milestone, or dollar increments.
- Interface is clean and easy to follow. The easier it is to use the fewer mistakes that are made when entering information. This is greatly appreciated.

- The UI/UX is less than stellar. It has most of the basic functionality you need, but it is not as slick as it could be.
- Reporting feature could use more ability to really customize the reports
- It is a great project collaboration tool, but it isn't specialized to any particular type of project. While its one size fits all approach makes it flexible, it also lacks some specific web development functionality we ultimately needed

- When looking at the job distribution it isn't to scale and it isn't printable.
- Sometimes it is confusing as to where you might find something until you realise there are multiple points of access.
- When a job is assigned the whole task is assigned and if you work on it before the task is allocated to you, it isn't possible to enter those hours. It would be better if the employee could choose the task they did and enter the hours and then it sent back to an approver to have it added.

We are already at an annual contract, and have been for the past 5 years; so far the system has delivered, and our personal is already trained in it. A major overhaul of our entire infrastructure (as in moving everything to a single, unified platform) might change the current continuity of Teamwork Projects on our organization, but that's not feasible in the near future.

The UI is clear, well laid out and very user friendly.The authors of the Teamwork Projects product have managd to cram a lot of detail into a small real estate without over-burdening the user.Adoption by my users has been extremely rapid with very little re-familiarisation required once they've got going.I do like the fact that there is an element of first-time user support embedded within the application. It means that I can point users to a sign-up page and spend very little time with them thereart

Customer support was okay. I didn't have much interaction with customer support. There's a learning curve for teamwork, and I wish they were more proactive with my onboarding or at least sent more frequent emails to help with the onboarding process. Other than that, things were pretty standard with their customer support.

Loan Assistant is a virtual business, entirely operated in the cloud. We do not have an office. Team members are located in diverse locations such as Munich, Canada and Sri Lanka as well as various locations in Australia. WorkflowMax is what ties us together. The fact that the billing is so tightly integrated into the workflow is a great strength. At this time we have been using Max for 6 years and plan on keeping using it. We have evaluated Slack but it didn't work for us.

- The positive impact Teamwork Projects has had is difficult to quantify. We have had a noticeable improvement in task management, time tracking, and customer alignment since starting to use Teamwork Projects. This has obviously led to an increase in Customer Retention metrics.

- Biggest impact has been automation of client invoicing. Prior to using WorkflowMax, invoices were generated in Word, usually a template from a prior invoice to that client. Now the invoice is generated in WorkflowMax, saved as a draft, exported to Word, uploaded to Microsoft SharePoint, then shared with the invoice author. This has cut down on mistakes and unnecessary admin time.
