Also a great tool for customer interaction.
The ability to share screen and files are a great enabler in everyday interactions.
The ease of inviting non-organization participants are a huge bonus.

Webex is our main comminications tool on our company, we use it as the main source of communication in and out of our organisation, the ease to use and its adaptability make our job easier to manage and deliver, it's a powerful tool and its potential it seem greater.

We use the entire Webex Suite, messaging, integrated UCM calling, and Meetings. Webex helps us to keep in quick and constant contact amongst our teams and is a great tool for managing various project communications. Having a single, unified application for communications and one that integrates with our video conferencing presence is generally a productivity enhancer.

  • The search functionality needs more utility. I would like to search space by date, for instance. Search does not do well after having to do a database reset.
  • Pinning messages could be "bold" and allow multiple pinned messages with expiration dates.
  • More user control of space grouping and hierarchy.
With Microsoft fully embedded in most customer environments, this is getting to be harder.

Cisco jabber used to communicate and collaborate securely and with internal users in the organisation. This also allows the users to be more productive from anywhere across the globe from any devices.
it gives instant messaging, voice and video calls, desktop sharing and conferencing and also presence information.
It also suits for mid-size and large environments.

Cisco jabber is mostly used in the organisation where they use the Cisco IP phones to replace with soft-phones. It is used for both on-premises and Cloud based deployments. Since, most of the users connects remotely, security is high priority to establish the secure communications and Cisco jabber suites well. Telephony integration enables to use computer-processing functions while making, receiving and managing telephone calls.

I use Webex every day for contacting colleagues and customers. I find it makes life so easy for phone calls, IM, calendar reminders and I dont need to use any other communications apps. Meetings I host are easy to manage, send invites and navigate during the meeting such as muting all, sharing screens, allowing control to other users, I never thought it could be so easy to do these things so quickly and all in one place.

Webex App is being used to do the online training for our customers and all remote work tasks are conducted by using the Webex App.

I use Webex App on a regular basis to take meetings. It has a really simple user interface and great video and audio quality. I can easily set up meetings with clients and meetings can be attended by laptop or mobile very easily. I can control the entry of participants, which I find it to be a very useful feature.

WebEx is a must have! It's an essential all-in-one communication tool which allows me to easily manage my day. It allows me to get in touch with individuals and teams very easily. I know when my meetings are and I can join meetings from any device. I would recommend anyone to use WebEx for a few days and see how much it improves their work life!

The Webex App is used in our organization for internal company-wide meetings. Our C-Suite Executives usually utilize it for quarterly meetings with the entire staff. Occasionally, we utilize Webex App for internal project meetings.
  • Digital communication between users is top-notch and effortless. Never an issue with video lag.
  • No dropped calls. I never have to worry if communication will drop due to a user or network server error.
  • Strong brand name. I hear Webex, and as someone that has utilized Webex since college, I can trust it as an application to utilize for web-based meetings.
  • UI/UX Design. Like other great products from the 2000s, product design with the mind of making user access easier within each update is lagging behind. I've seen this before as a usual issue with other well-trusted brand names in other areas of tech. When comparing UX/UI design to competitors like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and even Skype, the UX/UI design isn't as naturally intuitive.
  • Important UX functions in today's internet, such as sharing sound and sharing videos, aren't easily accessible. Although in the 90s and 2000s, a few clicks to get to the functionality you need was fine, competitors have jumped past this and provided no more than 1 step for their users to get to the desired function. For example, sharing sound with a video is not intuitive or easy enough to find for a casual user not familiar with Webex App.
  • I noticed for some users, after sharing videos or presentations, the sound would cut off completely after sharing. Audience members or other conference members could not hear the rest of the Webex meetings, and we resorted to calling the toll-free number to finish the call. This was a reoccurring issue from 2019-2021. I'm not sure if this has been resolved, but it was noticeable for one vendor that utilized Webex App.
Webex App is best suited for virtual conference meetings where a panel or select group of folks are speaking to a virtual audience.

Using Cisco Jabber was a huge game changer during the pandemic (and beyond). Not only did this save time, phone calls, and trips to each other's offices, it improved communication amongst our team and across other departments. The functionality of this program is awesome as it also allows video conferencing as well as phone calls - perfect for working from home!

Cisco Jabber made working from home so much easier. It was more efficient to communicate with the team with the chat function. When contacting outside of our organization, we were able to call from our computers so that we did not have to use our personal devices. I am not sure how working from home would have gone without Cisco Jabber.

When in my office, I am able to place and receive phone calls from my computer, using my desk phone and office number. When working remotely, I am able to place and receive phone calls from my computer, using my office number. My location of work is transparent to those I'm collaborating with.

I am also able to have visibility of incoming phone calls to my coworkers, and answer their phones if they aren't available, no matter my location. Customer service is enhanced by this flexibility.

I'm not sure if it's Cisco Jabber, or the Cisco phone system, but the delivery of voicemail to my email inbox is an improvement to voicemail that has seriously improved voicemail technology.

I use Cisco Jabber on a daily basis which helps me stay connected to the entire company which makes problem solving, training and staying connected which is extremely crucial in getting the job done. I love the ease in which to use Cisco Jabber and use it often for holding and attending meetings.

I feel Cisco Jabber is essential in keeping everyone connected in every capacity from one person to an entire team. We have regional meetings which has been too large for Cisco Jabber but for out biweekly meetings with our team it works great. I find it an easy and effective tool.

We all use the app. Some of us use the integration with Teams. I personally have found the app fantastic and productive. It provides fantastic secure commutation with the ability to convey messages quickly and easily. Sharing of information can mean the difference between a successful business and be out of business. We use Cisco Jabber for chat and internal calling. It allows us to communicate faster than email and ensure coworkers are available before reaching out to them. Our IT used it for trouble shooting and sharing the desktop, which is very convenient for most users working remotely. It also allows us to use it on mobile devices so you are not tied to the desktop computer.

The original share screen device. It streamlines communications company wide. Remote and in office. Cisco Jabber solved our need for real time answers during a phone call with prospective parents looking into adoption. It helped streamline priorities when adoptive mothers called in. Vital for quick response within a company.

I support and troubleshoot the problems faced by the users those who use Cisco Jabber phone to communicate various requirements to their clients. Cisco Jabber is a softphone that is used for inbound and outbound calling as well can be used for conference and call transfer. While troubleshooting i normally came accross various issues like phone is not able to connect to the server, also observed issue related to conference call. Cisco Jabber communicate to the call manager and their by call manager manages the routing and calling search space and where and how the call will get routed. Sometimes the new users follow incorrect method of login or the format of login is incorrect then also the phone unable to connect to the server. It communicates through TFTP.

Cisco Jabber works better in some scenarios when the agents seat idle for a long time while if we compare it with the cloud phones , if the user remain idle for a long time then the user has a chance to face missed call issue and webrtc error issue, where in Cisco Jabber phone no such issue can be seen even if the agents seats idle after login to phone.

We use Jabber as our main instant messaging platform. It is utilized by multiple groups within our organization, including IT support, retail support, ops support, and marketing. It helps us to multitask, especially during phone conferences and online meetings.

Webex App is being used as a medium for IM, presence, and calling pan Cisco. It has been very effective in keeping up with the collaboration within and across teams since the work moved over to hybrid and as the world moves over to the hybrid model of working. The Webex bots have been very interesting in automating some of the workflows which were being done manually in the teams, like reminders, surveys, etc.
  • Instant Messaging with reply and quote features.
  • Calling.
  • Automation with bots.
  • Presence - very difficult to become active at times especially from Mobile app.
  • Message editing - feature to show edits made (or) notification when a message is edited.
  • Predictive text replies to messages.
Well suited for:
  1. Instant collaboration.
  2. Group messaging and meet.
Not so well suited:
  1. When needing focused work (DND is an option but not very good), especially in meetings.

It is good for people who spend time on the field, meeting clients physically as well as virtually. A good tool to manage the sales team. WebEx is probably focusing more on that. As a consultant, I have to manage clients in multiple cities and hence, need to have a good tool to catch up with them on their progress and update them regarding tasks. Webex comes in handy here!

Well suited for internal usage. Not good for B2B interactions as they may have their own preferred application. I have often encountered that the client prefers a different application for Video Conferencing/Meeting and we have to switch to that. When the calls are within the organization, this issue is not faced.
