Overall Satisfaction with Gong
We use Gong.io to review important calls that we either could not attend or were not invited to. For me, that means I can review sales calls that I was not on to see how other reps are selling effectively. It also allows me to watch all calls at my desired speed and see a transcript of the call. This lets me save time and more more quickly through multiple calls. In our company, all calls are recorded on Zoom for transparency and educational purposes. More recently though, we have had numerous people opt out of recording meetings and it becomes useless when we can't record.
- Allow for faster playback of video.
- Show speaker talk time percentages.
- Allow for tagging of important moments for review for other teams.
- inviting team to see specific videos
- Transcription quality.
- Video quality and audio quality.
- Analysis of topics discussed.
- Created greater continuity among the sales team.
- Allows for in-depth review and feedback for salespeople and other teams.
- 25% minimum time savings compared to attending live.
Gong says they use AI but I have not seen any serious effects of this or helpful use cases. The most AI works is to label parts of the call for whether pricing or small talk is the point of conversation. The AI portion is not a particularly valuable to me as a user other than the transcription of the audio.
- Zoom and Microsoft Teams
Instead of recording all interviews and calls and posting them on a Google drive, Gong automatically records, posts, and transcribes all the meetings we want it to. The transcription is an amazing feature that allows us to search by word instead of simply scanning a video for the right part and wasting time.
