Overall Satisfaction with Groove

We create specific campaigns in Groove that we then add contacts to that are relevant to that campaign. Groove makes it extremely easy to track which contacts we need to reach out to on which day and you can also go in and edit each individual email prior to sending it in order to personalize it for a specific contact. It can get extremely challenging to have to keep track of hundreds of cold emails, and even harder to keep track of when to follow up. Groove makes that concern a non-factor. It's extremely user-friendly and if you ever run into any issues (I've had an issue where my phone disconnects from the dialer), the Groove support team is very responsive and helpful.

Pros

  • Ability to create my own flows.
  • Ability to sort by flow, by step within a flow, or just by overall steps due that day.
  • Ability to pause a flow because of a holiday or because I or the contact are OOO.
  • Knowing what time zone the contact is in prior to contacting them.

Cons

  • Better syncing with Salesforce when dialing a number not in a flow (I'd like to click on the phone number in Salesforce and have the dialer immediately dial. Instead I have to manually enter the number in the dialer).
  • Ability to create and share flows.
  • Easy to use dialer.
  • Ability to edit a flow once it's been created.
  • Increased productivity.
  • Faster follow-ups.
  • More time focused on prospecting, less time on following up.
The only thing I wish could be changed is the ability to click on a phone number in Salesforce and have it immediately start dialing. Unfortunately, I have to manually dial the number within the dialer. It is a very minor inconvenience and the pros heavily outweigh the cons. Every other feature within Groove makes my job and my life significantly easier and I can't express how much time it saves me.
Groove blows Xant out of the water. Xant was clunky, glitchy, and constantly disconnected my phone. I was contacting Xant support on a weekly basis. While the support was great, the tool could have been better. Groove never glitches, my phone has only disconnected once and it ended up being because of my internet, and support is more responsive than Xant in my personal experience.

Groove is extremely well suited for when you want to add dozens of contacts into a flow. That will make it easier to track and know what you're sending and to who. Even if you want to send a one-off email with 1-2 phone calls, you can create a flow just for that. Since all I do is customer outreach, I can't think of many scenarios where Groove is not useful for outreach.
