Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training

As a reseller, we have many customers that use it for end-user training and awareness for ransomware. There are many organizations that have been stricken by ransomware, or see it in the news and out of fear, request that we look into options: KnowBe4 leads that charge. We have also used some other tools to check for domain spoofing, and fill some other needs, but training is on the forefront.

  • There are a couple tools, such as the MFA assessment, that lack automation, and we find those much less useful.

There are other products that can compare to KnowBe4. We've assessed several others but we have experienced that other products are less intuitive for administration, have a lower ROI, have poor reporting, or a poor end-user experience on training.

New content means increased awareness when going through training. If we keep going through the same training and the same content, users get all too comfortable with the same old stuff; this increases our risk. Keeping users on their toes means they are constantly improving and decreasing risk.
We use groups for management because there are different training programs for different groups of users. Leadership user training focuses more on wire transfers and replying to emails, where front line workers have more of a focus on malicious links, pictures embedded with links, and social media.
Some of the most important are replies from leadership and click percentage from front line workers on malicious links and social media. Overall, our most important metrics are what the overall failure rate is, who failed the latest test, and if those users who failed the test previously failed. Seeing individual failures enables us to tailor training to individuals so that we can raise our overall percentage.
Customers who have issues with ransomware, or are particularly "clicky," are well suited for the end-user awareness training component. We've noticed a drastic decrease in ransomware activity. For the customers that have not improved in training, the software is still appropriate but we have to take new approaches. It might be even more useful with increased administrator training, in the sense of training who deploys the software even more by recommending ways to improve scores based on what metrics have been logged.

SSO and SAML are a hard requirement these days, so this is great value.
AI-driven benefits are profound these days with the rise of AI. AI is a necessary tool for higher quality and easier management.
It's very easy to use as an administrator, and a user.
I've read about these products but not used them personally, yet.

We needed something hosted, it needed to be easy to use, and it needed to be both cost effective and deliver a ton of value; also support SSO.
I wouldn't change anything, KnowBe4 is the preferred product.

No, I've never really needed it because the product is easy to setup and administer.
I reached out in my early years when getting started and the onboarding support was phenomenal, I've come to understand that level of quality has not changed.
KnowBe4 has a great reputation across the board. From training, pricing, to support, there isn't another vendor we use, after having gone through our vetting process.
