Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training

All employees receive at least one training video and one episode of The Inside Man serial every month. We all send out phish test emails every month to all users and track their ability to recognize and report the phish. If a Phish test is failed by clicking on a link or other activity, the number of training that person receives increases based on the number of failures they have in a year.

Pros

  • The Inside Man serial is a big hit.
  • Developing Phish test emails is easy.
  • Tracking training completion and phish results.
  • Scheduling trainings based on previous failures.

Cons

  • API's for downloading user result information could be improved.
  • Result tracking is easy but layout could be cleaner.
  • Scheduling of additional trainings based on failures could be improved.
  • PhishAlert is useful but can be problematic when users are using different devices for email. I.e. Outlook app vs. OWA vs. mobile devices.
  • We are able to enumerate the improvement of Phish awareness from one period to another for our board members.
  • We have used KnowBe4 for disseminating additional materials either created in-house or through another department or company.
  • Improved employee satisfaction with training, higher completion rates.

It has improved our staff's impressions of training to the point where they often are asking for more.
The product is managed by the Information Security department. We select the training, build the phish test emails, schedule and track results.
Phish test results are the most important to us, but we also track the time spent on training and training sessions being completed.
KnowBe4 is great for creating engaging and entertaining videos that people enjoy and look forward to. The PhishAlert and phish test scenarios are an important part of our tracking that employees are getting the message. We have had some difficulty with users and the PhishAlert when using different devices. The process is different if using Outlook from the web vs the desktop vs a mobile device

KnowBe4 Compliance Plus

We use the training content by assigning training to all our employees each month, and additional training if one fails our monthly phish testing. Failure training vary based on the number of failures over a period, with the number and length of training increasing as the failures increase.

For the most part, our employees enjoy the training. We hear from staff all the time about how they prefer the Knowbe4 training offerings over othe required training.
It eases our management of assigning and tracking training.
It has paid for itself by helping us as an organization to avoid BEC.
We are delighted with the effectiveness and the quality of the Knowbe4 training offerings.
At this point, it would not make much sense for us to change providers.

KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training New Features

Not that I am aware of.
Additional trainings are assigned based on failures.
We are consistently being told how much the Knowbe4 trainings are enjoyed, especially compared to other trainings required from other departments.
We do us PhishER and PhishFlip. They have helped us keep the threat of phish in the minds of our users.
