Implementing Miro takes a team of savvy users to distribute and teach other team members the functions of Miro. It is more of an internally organized team that needs to implement Miro rather than support from the Miro team. If the expert users within the company have examples of how Miro can be used as a whole rather than just teaching basic functions, the tools become that much easier to roll out.

There are programs with similar individual functions to Miro, which makes it difficult for people to switch over. When receiving new tools, people have the perception that there is already something good enough. To remedy this, create a plan for transferring old documentation into Miro. Additionally, a clear vision for how Miro should be used needs to be drawn up.

Miro is appropriate for starting off initial discussions, brainstorming, and high-level process flows. However, it does get difficult the more granular a structure gets and if more subcategories need to be made. One particular difficulty is breaking out charts into swim lanes of different owners. It is hard to create the swim lane and then lock the movement of the box created.
