Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is currently being used by a select few departments as a trial test to give teams a platform to communicate ideas, processes, and brainstorming sessions. Miro helps solve visualization issues in meetings and aligns everyone on information shared. With the ability to edit given to all users, corrections or misinterpretations are easy to spot.

Implementing Miro takes a team of savvy users to distribute and teach other team members the functions of Miro. It is more of an internally organized team that needs to implement Miro rather than support from the Miro team. If the expert users within the company have examples of how Miro can be used as a whole rather than just teaching basic functions, the tools become that much easier to roll out.
There are programs with similar individual functions to Miro, which makes it difficult for people to switch over. When receiving new tools, people have the perception that there is already something good enough. To remedy this, create a plan for transferring old documentation into Miro. Additionally, a clear vision for how Miro should be used needs to be drawn up.
Miro has helped teams brainstorm ideas, then subsequentially categorize those ideas into cohesive bins. From there, those bins are used to develop a more fleshed-out idea or process maps. It is useful to have prior ideas a simple zoom in and zoom out a distance away from wherever your current workspace is on a Miro board.

Miro is appropriate for starting off initial discussions, brainstorming, and high-level process flows. However, it does get difficult the more granular a structure gets and if more subcategories need to be made. One particular difficulty is breaking out charts into swim lanes of different owners. It is hard to create the swim lane and then lock the movement of the box created.
