Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use the tool across the whole organisation to facilitate workshops and meetings. It addresses the need to for an open space for collaboration. For us as a UX team it's been essential to enable synchronous and asynchronous exchanges across teams

Pros

  • Enable a large number of participants to collaborate in the same virtual space
  • Is not heavy for average computers
  • The interactions with the board is intuitive for most users

Cons

  • Could have the ability to have users to contribute with voting or specific brainstorming via mobile with focus (similar to mentimeter)
  • The performance for larger boards should be better - it begins to slowdown
  • Better ways of 'hiding boards' so users so see that other participants don't there is a hidden board (when you are sharing screen for example)
  • Improved our ability to run workshops remotely
It could handle heavier, bigger boards a bit better.
This one is for IT, but I didn't notice any negative impact
It made it possible to conduct the typical UX workshops we would typically conduct in person.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

It's more suited for larger teams who interact with each other on an ongoing basis. This way the tool becomes familiar to all within the organisation and very quickly becomes widely adopted.

It's not always good when you have different clients and often have workshops with different people (like offering consultancy services). In this scenario you always have to account for first timers and it consumes considerable time of the sessions.
