Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I really enjoy using Miro. I adapted the Miro board during the pandemic because I started working from home and didn't have the desk space to write my usual notes and reminders, etc. that I used to have at my space in the office. Miro is great and I really enjoy it. The only feedback I have will probably show my age a little bit. If I were in the office and at my desk, I would be able to immediately see top/important topics as I go about my day, but with Miro, I would have to open my laptop or my phone app, etc. in order to see/review. So it's a habitual thing, but nothing to do with Miro. I think Miro is great.
  • Color coding
  • Various templates to chose from
  • Collaboration
  • Navigation
  • Mobile app
  • Font size and ratio selection
  • Offline connection with the real world
  • It allows me to adapt an online taking note (after resisting it for years)
  • So that probably increased my productivity
  • and ultimately have more detailed notes because I can type faster than hand write.
I think it would have been helpful to have short video tutorials on some of the features of Miro. Or some sort of mechanism to show how those tools can be used in real-time. It's really hard sometimes to understand how to use some of the tools and how to make great use out of them. Or how applicable they might be to actually use those tools in real life.
I'm not quite sure what you mean by "integration" in this context. However, if you mean integration to my day-to-day work, then I have to admit I think it was a bit rough at first. And it's because of how I used to just use physical note writing. So adapting [to] it was not very easy. But after being "forced" because of my working situation, I've come to enjoy using it.
We haven't really done many collaborations using Miro. But in the few ones that we did, I thought the board was great. Everyone was able to review content and able to provide feedback and edits/suggestions. It does get annoying sometimes when you see something "out of place" because someone moved something, but that can happen in real life with physical things too I suppose.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

They're different. Sometimes Miro is useful in certain aspects but not with others. I'm trying to limit the number of platforms I use to take notes and have decided that Miro is the best one for me. I still use Google notes for a lot of other things because my organization uses Google Workspace.
I found that Miro has been for me when I need to be note-taking during Zoom calls. Sometimes it's really hard to keep your eyes on the camera and be able to take notes without making the other participant feels like you're ignoring them. And sometimes when we need to collaborate, I think the features are also super useful. Especially when we need to create a pathway/roadmap to a specific goal.
