Overall Satisfaction with Miro

As students, we use it to manage our projects. We work in groups, so having a shared area like Miro makes it much more efficient to share ideas and such, especially during a time with COVID-19. Though even when we can meet up it is still our go-to program to share our ideas, progress, and plans in.

Pros

  • Keeping track
  • Sharing
  • Planning

Cons

  • More teams for students, not just groups
  • The option to hide names from view
  • Custom templates
  • Easier communication
  • Improved productivity
  • Improved track keeping of projects
We had a single lesson about how Miro was going to be our new best friend for shared notes, brainstorms, and general project management. They were right. Now it is our go-to program for all of our projects, even though we can freely choose which program we want to use.
I do not think that we would use it if it had not been so easy to integrate. This digital whiteboard is both to integrate and to use in general. Especially when those you work with are used to digital media, which we are as young students in a digital age.
We are collaborating in smaller groups, where the groups change regularly. We do not yet have any that works strictly remotely. Though it has been very useful when our locations have been unstable due to COVID-19. Besides that, it has been nice how Miro is available across platforms.

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Personally, I find Miro better for group work. OneNote is good for personal notes but tends to be much slower with updating compared to Miro. I just find Miro better for anything where you are not the only one writing or brainstorming for that matter. OneNote seems better for "notebook" styled notes that you take alone.
If you could use a whiteboard, you could use Miro. Miro is great for a lot to be honest. Though it is not that great for anything that you wouldn't use a whiteboard for. You would not try to write a full essay in Miro, though you could have your brainstorm for the essay in Miro.
